Holy etc etc etc..... What are we up to......... Every few hours there is another new fantastic landscape for good old Europe. I wont go flying any more: please let somebody come up with a nice VOLVO V70 D5 mod and I'll go on holiday on the ground instead...... If the two of you could combine something it 'll be heaven on earth (no beer in the real heaven anyway they say...) Absolutely stunning, Aju, Derk -

Question regarding aircraft data
Kirsten replied to Atreides's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
As far as I know all those altitude records in F4's , F 15's, SU 27's and partly in F 104's were made while the planes were sailing over the top in a carefully calculated balistic traject without any engine power left. The rocket assisted NASA Starfighter was another matter of course.... You should be able to try it out yourself by accelerating to for example Mach 2 at 36000 ft to 40000 ft, pull up carefully to about 45 degrees and see where it gets you, with your engine at full bore AND with your engine at idle as from for instance 60000 ft Aju, Derk -

Perception in my way of life is trying to find out if the statement or remark is meant to hurt or contains an insult that is meant to be an insult......... If not: no problem !!!! Sure makes life a lot easier........ I think USAFMTL took the right way out in his very respectable separate post !!! In the mean time, noobs will always be noobs, everyone started out being one, I guess I am still one and I love it: youth is a beautifull thing............................. Any way to fly RED in dynamic campaign?
Kirsten replied to Miracles's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
The best time ever at the European airshow circuit was in the years just after the fall of the Berlin Wall, when the former enemies started visiting their former adversaries. All of a sudden we saw Fishbeds, Floggers, Fulcrums, Fitters, Frogfoot's and a few Flankers, Bears, Backfires, Hinds and whatever you could dream of, being flown with bravado at our airshows. It was fantastic !!! Beside that, it was absolutely fabulous (at the crowdline or the flightline) to be able to talk and have a beer with pilots & groundcrew from behind the former Iron Curtain, be it in English or German, and to find out they were human too... (we always suspected that, but it was wonderfull to find out it was actually true.....) It certainly felt like making new friends !!!! Those were happy days...... Aju, Derk -

Kirsten replied to Dave's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
Thank you all for a very fine set of Eagles !! As it is a rework of the existing ones happily the BT, CR and IS skins are fitting as far as I can see. As the CR 32 TFS recieved F 15A MSIP's after returning from the Gulf War I 'll try to modify the existing A into that variant too Thanks again !!! Derk -
