The nice thing in my opinion -except for the very nice skins- is the somewhat reworked Block 50/52 cockpit, which, although underdeveloped, gives a good cockpit atmosphere and I like it very much. I wonder though about the HUD info superimposed over the radar. Just don't know if it was ever used that way ... For my MLU (basically the same) I don't have it, apart from some other differences. I've been around the Romantische Strasse, Dinkelsbuhl, Nördlingen etc. Remember quite a lot of low flying jets. Must have been a noisy and smokey place in those days, with the equivalent of about 23 squadrons of F4's in Germany and Holland... Hesselberg indeed looks like a vantage point !!! Aju, Derk

Does anyone remember if there is an altitude warning anywhere ? Seem to remember the friendly lady voicing over her concern over the number of feet over the ground that you have available, but can't find it anymore...... Anyone any idea ? Thanks, Derk

My brother in law flew it in our MLD . Beautiful thing, flew very well, but was retired when it developed fatique related problems in the stabilos. Two or three of them actually crash landed in the sea, one of them right in front the people on the beach in Wassenaar, just a few miles from home base Valkenburg...... It actually floated quite well and it was moved by tugboat to den Helder (50nm !) The remaining 7 or so examples were sold. Will there be an MLD skin? Looking forward to it !! Aju, Derk :yes:
