there is always that magical button on the keyboard that has been there for years and years, called PRINT SCREEN.

with enough thrust to weight ratio, anything can hover like the mig. i was most impressed with B-17 video tho, it sounded like the real thing on takeoff.

wait until one of the enemy guns or sams lights you up with radar, as soon as they do, fire a missile at them. it will track into their radar beam, not yours.

after watching a show on the military channel about the top 10 fighters, the F-22 came in 10th. and according to all the guys that rated it, it is because it will be a "turkey". in other words they said that this plane is so incredibly expensive, can really only do one mission, can be brought down by other cheaper planes that have better pilots, and has a long way to go to even prove that it was worth the cost of making it. they said there should be no reason for this aircraft to even exist right now, other then the fact that technology must improve and go forward. thats the only reason for its existance. for the costs, they should have redesigned the current top fighters, and made them even better, such as a new F-15, F-16, F/A-18's, and the JSF.

what ever left overs are in the fridge are fair game with omelets, just remember to toss on some tobasco, or some ms dash cajun spice. actually come to think of it, ive used almost every type of ms dash seasoning on eggs, they all just work so well.

havent seen this plane talked about since i was playing Janes Fighters Anthology. they had it in there as a hidden aircraft.

with me, and my ati 9800pro that is overclocked and has a huge arctic cooling system on it, WoI runs great. but even a stock copy of WoV just drops down in frame rate to sometimes less then 5. WoE and WoI will have a constant 30-45fps. there is no way i can assume that these games are more graphically intensive then say COD4 and FEAR. those i run perfectly. there are always other causes of poor performance in certain games, it just takes a while to find out what it is exactly.

i hate the fact that there is one command to Red Crown that is completely useless. "request help" they never say anything but No. just once in a while it would be nice if they said Yeah, sure well send some guys over to help out.

that base is where i went to tech school in '99.

there was an F-16 once at Cannon AFB while i was there that had in in flight emergency and upon landing approach, he ditched his external fuel tanks. they landed about 5 miles off base, one of them actually landed on a cow and killed it. so i think the govt had to pay that farmer some money.

has anyone ever figured out how ot run Strike Commander on windows xp?

i started off with Aces over Europe, then moved on to the Pacific one. i still have those btw, and they still run. then i fell in love with Strike Commander. but for some reason i cannot get it to play at all. also Falcon 2.0 and then i moved onto all the Jane's games like US Navy Fighters, Fighters Anthology and then eventually the USAF, IAF, and Longbow games. ive got a stack of flight sim cd's about a foot and a half high next to the computer.
