  1. my interpertation is this wingman says "Sam Launch" 30 seconds later, you see them off the nose and start screaming "Oh SH*T, Oh SH*T, Oh SH*T" they pass by, and then you laugh at the failed russian missiles as they explode somewhere back on the ground on the people of the country that launched them at you.
  2. ANY F-15 CREW CHIEFS HERE?

not I. I was the ammo guy who supplied the F-16's at Cannon with fresh inert 20mm and little blue bombs (BDU-33's) all the time.
  3. Major Lee's Aerodrome...

man, i went to the museum back in like 1998 or something on a motorcycle trip with my father. ive got hundreds of pics that i had scanned into the comp way back when, but then my hdd failed and i lost all them. i still have the originals but now my scanner doesnt want to work. ive got some great shots of the planes. when i was there the X-29 was hanging from the roof, and the XB-70 was positioned so its nose was over an A-10. gives you a good scale of how big it really is.
  4. id say retire the older F-15's up to the C varients, and let just the Strike Eagles carry on the missions that all the older eagles can no longer do. the Strike Eagles are just as good in air combat as any other eagle. they dont suffer from this same crack as other models do (yet), and two sets of eye balls are always better then one. that should buy them enough time for the F-22 squadrons and eventually the F-35 groups to get online and assuming the F-15's role.
  5. i am all over the 27th Fighter Wings F-100 skin. i was part of the 27th from 1999 to 2001 doing munitions for the EMS squadron to help support the 4 F-16 squadrons at Cannon AFB. I do remember seeing on base, static displays of the F-100's along side the F-111's. it really is a great plane, and the skin looks great.
  6. Movie Lines that make great signatures...

"Goddamn Harley, if you were shooting for s**t, you wouldn't even catch a wiff" Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man
  7. BSOD on Cod 4

ive never had a bsod and ive got a fairly old system running this game, an ati 9800pro (eek) as the video card. i do occasionally get times where the game will minimize, because of my dual monitors, from my mouse moving too far to the right, and then the game will not maximize again. but no bsod.
  8. What are you packing in COD4 MP? Huh?

been playing this game now for 3 days online, ive gone up to Major 1 in about 20 hours of gameplay. i run around with the MP5 RDS, USP, Fast reload, and sprint most of the time on smaller maps. on larger ones i go with the M4 ACOG or AK47 RDS, and the same perks as the MP5. digital camo all around.
  9. i guess the old saying is true, "with enough money, and thrust, even a rock can fly" cuz thats all that hornet got turned into, a thrust propelled rock with that much damage.
  10. Defected to the dark side

i guess you never owned a sega dreamcast with the keyboard and mouse. browsing the internet with that was easy, except for the 56k modem part.
  11. i've never had any real problems with the Omega Drivers for my ATI 9800pro, but the arctic cooling system i got for the card helped alot with the heating issues that the stock fan couldn't keep up with.
  12. looks like a mix of a MiG29, an Alpha Jet, and a Yak-141. but looks good!
  13. that was the game way back in the day that got me hooked with flight sims. i still have the cd. i got it free when i had bought a sound blaster 16 card. ah the good old days. i wish i could still play that game but windows no likey. i might have to fix my old 333mhz comp and load dos on it.
  14. What Do You Look Like in Uniform Thread

i lost most of my pics when my harddrive crashed on me so heres what i have left till i scan more in. mug shot Aug 1999 group mugshot aug 1999 saying goodbye to some obsolete stuff good times in the dorm (2 story beer bong) and to finish it off
  15. Lawn Darts

the whole lawn dart name hasn't really applied to the F-16 since the A models disappeared. the A models had a wire chaffing problem against screws and such, and since its a fly-by-wire plane, the wires would short or get cut, and the pilot would lose control and crash nose first most of the time. they said they fixed the problems with the newer C and D models. so the lawn dart term is a bit out dated for the F-16's.
