  6. I am a big Voodoo fan, and along with playing the thirdwire games all the time, I do alot of 1/48 model building. The Monogram RF-101B was one of my first models back in the early 90's, and I have always thought the RF-101B was the best looking (although not alot were converted) F-101 version. So I am spending alot of time flying it (and taking lots of recce pics). Thanks Dave for that conversion!!!
  7. I do have a question, and it might seem dumb, but ill ask anyway. I have read about the 101's pitchup problem. So I was wondering if it was the simulated part where the nose automatically comes up when you are approaching transonic speeds, or when I pull hard on the stick and the nose swings up hard and stalls real easily.

  9. My F-15 came close to losing its wing once. When the pylon and tank ripped off in flight. It cut a gash in the left CFT also. I was down a month waiting for depot to come and change the wing.
  10. Awesome!! It worked, but I still have a problem.. I can carry every missile but the AIM-4. My AIM-4s work in the game on the F-4, so I know its there. Anyone have any solutions?

  13. I exclusively play thirdwire games, except for WW2. For that era, I play IL2 series. I see pictures of the birdcage -1 corsairs, but I havent seen an actual aircraft model for download. Does anyonw know where this is?

    67 years today, my Great Uncle was stationed aboard the USS Oklahoma at Pearl Harbor. Lucky for my family, he was not aboard at the time. He was in the brig on shore. Thats abother story. He passed away about 3 years ago. God rest their souls.
  16. I just bought First Eagles last week, and tonight I was going to purchase the expansion pack, and they have released both for the same price I paid for one last week! It is listed as First Eagles Gold. Ill probably just buy the expansion pack anyway.
  17. I agree, The price is lowered to 19.99 for each now, So if I cant spend 20 bucks towards the greatest game maker ever, I shouldn't be playing it at all.
  18. All from the 27C's on WOV 1. All F-8's and RF-8's (preferably the F-8D 2. A-4C,E and F 3. Any Navy A-1 (Sometimes I fly the RAZBAM A-1E from the carrier and squint my eyes and pretend that it's navy.)
  19. I have instantly fell in love with this game, and I've only played 3 missions!! It is a very refreshing change of pace from WOV, even though I still think WOV is the greatest game ever made.

    I think its awesome. It would be cool to see the Earthlings on Battlestar Galactica intercept the Galactica with these and blow it up for drawing out the 4th season.
  22. LOL I was gone 6 months too long in Idaho to get the PFD this year, I have been getting them for 7 years until this year. I will get it next year. I got a kill on my second mission, and was shot down about .5 seconds after that.
  23. I was wondering if I should purchase First Eagles, or First Eagles expansion pack? Does the expansion pack work without the first one?
