All the web sites that are pre-ordering Lock on says the game is still set for a 9/24/03 release date. Seeing all the screen shots the game looks about done. Do any of you know if this release date is accurate.

I just reinstalled FS2004 and now it works fine. So it was some bug after all.

Ya some thing must be worng here because I am getting 14 FPS on those settings. There is no AA or AS on. It jumps around from 40 to 14 when I take off. So I guess that there is some sort of bottle neck some where. Could it be my sound card thats built in my mother board. It's a nForce2 but I know some thing just is not right. My Geforce is a Jaton Geforce fx 5600 with 256 mb on it. My mother board is a biostar runing DDR266 memory on a 128 bit data path. All setting with my computer are set for the best performance. I just can't figure out why it's so dam slow on FS2004.

Ranger it looks like your cloud settings are set to symple textures. If I do that my Fps go to 60 to 80 FPS. But with out real looking clouds this game just is not the same. I guess there is nothing wrong with this computer. Unreal 2 and any other up to date game runs the way it should. :roll: But It still is just a little slower than maybe it should be. But thanks for the advice guys.

I have a Nforce 2 Mother .B with updated drivers on all my componets. I am not sure what the hell is going on?

Well It's my video card. It sucks because Nvidia sucks now for some reason. They need new management!!! Well I get 30 FPS on FS2004. On 1024x758/ 32bit. The clouds slow things down a lot. It just does not seem right but when I check my computers benchmark there is no indication of a problem. So I guess that I just have to buy the next top of the line video card when it comes out because I know that my CPU can send a lot of Vortex data I just need the right card for it I guess? PS: All TRS's are shut off I am using Xp home. So I guess my idea of bad performance in Fs2004 is when it falls to 15FPS? The only thing that starts when my computer starts up is the desktop and thats it.

Fs 2004 does not look the way Lock on looks. Lock on is much better and fs2004 performs poorly on a 3200+ AMD with a Geforce FX 5600 256MB. So I was thinking that Fs 2004 it just not optimized like Lock on will be? How do you think Lock on will do on my system?

Holy s**t I think that some one is working on a F-16. That will be really cool to have along with a F-14. The concept f-16 started test fights in 1972. So it's not as new as some may think.

Navy chief, I am having the same problem now that I got it working. The flight model is not correct. Also there is a problem with the model itself.

I am 22 and I wanted to join the Army or Navy. But I have very bad eyesight in one eye 20/80 and in my right eye 20/20 with contacts. Would that hold me back from joining any force? I also have to take some medication that’s for depression how would this affect me when joining? And the final problem is my brother; He has a low felony on his record. Is there any way the military would seal this or even allow him to join? He wants to be in a Special ops team like Rangers, Delta, Ect. Thank you to any one who answers me:) Lex :twisted:

I tried every thing to get this thing flyable. And when I go to single missions the aircraft does not show up as a flyable. So is this plane flyable? I put it in my Objects folder and also put a F-89C directory in my aircraft with all the files just like all the other add-ons and it still does not work. Thanks, Lex

I got the Su-15 to go 1320 knots in true air speed. And about 980knts on the display. So what the different between true air speed and what the white display tells me? I ask this because they are very far apart in speed.

Hey, I was thinking that there needed to be custom sounds for each aircraft. For example a f-4 sounds a lot diffrent than a Mig-21. Or a f-86 sounds a lot diffrent than an a-4. Does any one know how to creat or get sound files for each aircraft? Pinches custom sounds are a big improvment over the original but there needs to be a little more tweaking on sounds. :(

Do any of you know any links to all high res skins. I am trying to replace all lower res skins. I am not sure why TW made low res skins at all. Thanks CJ

Hello I was wondering if there are any high res weapon skins around. The high res skins for aircraft look great. But they would look even better with high res weapon skins :D (B)

It there going to be an update of the cockpit in the F-105? it looks very unfinished and I was thinking about if there is a possibility that It might be finished.

I have a Nivida Ti4200p with 128MB DDR 500mHZ. Is the ATI 8500 or 9000 better then the card I have. I can't find any comparisions or benchmarks.

I think that project one has to have the SR-71 Black bird. Mainly because that was the high light of 1960's-1970's aircraft. I am thinking about doing it so hopfully I will have the time. :x :?:

How do you turn the engines off??? I think that is an important thing to be able to do. If there is not a way to turn off the engines then has there been any info as to when or if this feature will be added.
