  1. Isnt it so in real life to, sometimes pilots die before they can eject??? And even if they eject they could die to. Ejection seats are dangerous in real life a lot can go wrong
  2. But no one will ever forbid you to fly in Hard FM if the aircraft is up to it. I think the DID standard only should represent a minimun of the standard all above should be up to the individual gamer IMHO

  11. You have a pilot and when he dies you have to come up with a new guy, starting from square one again. You have to fly as close you can to reallistic. saying starting at the runway flying the whole course like you would in real life. not pressing Alt+N or starting near target. Landing at the runway again manualy.

  13. You OFF guys has inspirred me to do the same thing in my sim of choice. anything on hard and if my pilot dies he is out and I have to start with another one...

  15. Plus depending on the given target. If you can put some missiles into bombers with tailgunners it will help you a lot to. Try charging a Beagle from the rear in an F-86 armed with .50 cal and you're dead meat
  16. I prefer Gun kills. But if you're playing very modern stuff it helps to even out the odds a bit using BVR missiles first. Missiles isnt allways easier. If you're playing on hard with everything and are flying the F-4 in Vietnam. You sometimes wished you had a gun instead of useless missiles.

    Death is a weird thing. The BIG unknown. Something none of us can cheat. I dont think you're gone when you die. I have seen to much weird stuff happening in my life to believe that its like switching a buttom on/off. I dont fear it myself since I truly believe its just a phase anyone has to endure to becomming something else. I cant tell you what since I dont know.
