    I'm using the newest you posted and I'm working in WOE so that should be matching. I'm even using the Testurelist WOE that came with that TE where all the water tiles is added. so I'm a bit clueless.

    How can it be that I dont have any Sea tiles to work with??? I have converted any TGA's to bitmaps but they dont show in the texture map list. Even tried to edit that list but nothing is added when you press Ok. When I press auto texture any sea area is filled with Field tiles. What did I miss????

  4. I'm thinking of creating a Early 50's campaign for Europe. But I need need some info on units based in Europe in that timeframe. Main idea is! What if?? Korea: General MacArthur gets his will and several Chineese Cities are being nuked to rubble. The Soviet retalliation is a masive attack on western Europe. Spearheaded in the Fulda Gap Region. All Nato forces are deploying all availible assets to stop the aggression. Even the Swedes are drawn into the conflict since they are part of the UN forces in Korea. I know that the Royal Danish Air Force was meant to deploy in Germany in the event of war. Most Cold War scenarios predict the Fulda Gap as the main battlefield in Europe. My goal is to have a mix of propdriven Aircrafts and early jets. At least two playable units from each country. But the first task is to create a list of units and Aircrafts and see what is possible.   7. Very interesting. Do you have any indication of that battleplan would go for the early to mid fifties too?? Or is that plan only valid for the later years of the cold war.

  9. Earlier I was a dedicated mud mower. Now I like a close knife fight too. But it is two completly different worlds in my opion. But I like them both Being a F-4 Phreak you have to master both worlds

    Is there an upper limit on target area's in the game engine?? I mean it would be such a vaste of time starting on a terrain this size. If you cant fill it with targets.

  14. If you turn the Hud to normal in options then you'll keep all information like the radar scope and red target box. but you'll get rid of the labels
  15. Couldnt agree more with the posts above. Allways fight in the vertical using zoom and boom tactics. I'm using deflection shots a lot. But it needs to be practiced jugding the range and speed of your target. So you can gain the needed lead on the target. So you dont wast to much ammo. the advantage is that you are pressented with a much larger target. Dont pull many G's when firring your guns, or they will jam. only use very short burst. If you are going to use winders. Fire them at close range under a mile out. most winder kills I got under my belt. is when I shoot from 0.5 - 0.9 NM.
  16. Armour piercing rounds is the way to go. I will bet that a .50 cal with AP rounds will penetrate most Merchant vessels. It's a fact in world war 2 that a A-26 Invader litteraly could cut a cargo ship in half just with its 0.50's. But again it could just be a matter of the volume of fire alone that did the trick. 14 forward firing .50's is laying out a tremendous volume of AP AP incindiaires and lead. Just my 2 cents
  17. Dont think you are in any trouble unless your graphic card is less than the rest of your system
  18. Every body should have in mind that this and other Flight Sims. Lite or not is a computer game. And no one regardless how clever they are. Cant produce a perfect product. There is allways limitations to obey. Game engines, performance etc etc.
  19. Playing unmodded WOE In my current 62 Red Thunder campaign flying the F-100D. My squadron contains 4 aces including myself and 3 pilots with 4 kills each Just proves that the F-100D is a brilliant Dogfighter in the right hands.
