In your terrain set just run all your tiles through a jpeg viewer. The ones that come up as a mismatch visually are the ones missing from the set you have applied over the old one. There shouldn't be more than 3 or 4. That's how i applied the newer Desert set over the one that came with ODS. This is a little weird though. Was your copying thorough?

It does if the mirrors don't show the whole of your fuselage. In fact I like it when the mirrors show me just the tips of the tails and the sky behind and above me. The Flankers have also been royally mucked by the slew of patches...and if you don't have the time to plant your pit with the same devotion and attention to detail as some of us here, ShowFromCockpit=FALSE works brilliantly as a stop gap.

TK definitely doesn't design. Cost does not matter to an artist. Here you've got a guy upto his eyeballs in gomers(an expression borrowed from Richard Herman, if you will) being sledged at by his customers, not meeting sales targets, and well you know the rest. In a different manner, we've all been there at some point. That didn't stop us from thinking big. But trouble becomes evil when big dreams don't happen. Then you've got a guy like Skate, who in some years of perfecting his carrier, CVN 75, has delivered a magnum opus that TK could never have developed with "hundreds of thousands of dollars" but only dreamed of; a case of Mozart to Salieri, if you are inclined to random analogies, that is. Behind this virtual veil, all we want to do, is fly. Seems to me we are on the same side. While Dave's idea is great, it also seems the developer is bent on flying his own course. The struggle is interminable.
