  4. Course it is...you'd have to mod the wingman specific sound files;like the responses to various commands, I'm guessing. Hitch is there are 2000 odd files to sort-but its definitely doable, a lot many have..-check the downloads.Good luck.

  6. Ultimately its a matter of ethics-I would take permission. But my point is to go after the people who dont,is a rather uphill proposition. Litigation is terrible for business. The only time to litigate is when you have the promise of a big win. My idea is to never discourage a man from doing what he must. Everyone prevails at some point of life.

Heads-up on the legal BS; The lawsuit would be a very difficult proposition-given TW's implied consent by advertising the series as an open architecture simulator, even going to the extent of providing tools to modify(editors etc) it-and the undeniable fact that the series has been modified for almost a decade now. Also given the international scenario, TW would have to seek injunctions at a local level- enforcing foreign decrees are a veritable nightmare especially in third world countries.

    I'm just about wrapping up with the game-its not Bad Company or MoH; but theres something to it. Try the CSAR Fireteam engagements-I can't get through with my whole team intact. Of course I'm screaming bloody murder about how inept and plainly idiotic the AI is at the best of times; but the PLA is handing it to me so far!

  15. Some time ago there used to be an RGB tool which would give one the correct code to be entered into the game. Is it still around or if not what are people using these days?

StartAirDefenseLevel=3 in the campaign data ini also determines the enemy ground resistance during the first days though once you've flown three or four missions even with this parameter at its lowest setting it is then dependent on supply level and as Wrench so rightly pointed out- how dense the terrain target ini is. I tried the above setting over Lebanon and straying over the border was not the wisest course of action. Over Vietnam, I've never survived to tell the tale. Come to think of it, even after flying this sim for four years, I still get shot down!!!
  18. In the MiG-23MF data ini, check to see whether these match. If they do then you would also have to check the weapon data.ini. Overwrite only if you find a discrepancy-please save the two files before tinkering with them!!!Then run the weapons editor, and save as prompted. On an aside, I don't like the Apex very much-requires a lot of psychic power to score a hit!Oh and I'm using the MF weapons pack-just to be certain that you have the correct model references with the data given below.
