There was this thread about making the Mig-29 faster... so my guess is it governs the fuselage resistance at high speed, if you increase the speed beyond what the fuselage can endure then Ka-boom, like the F-15 has a dash speed of Mach 2.54 but sustained speed is Mach 2.3. Of course its just a hunch as it is beyond me to decipher those numbers. -
Mach 3.4 = Fireball?

yeah, done that;its something else- the airframe cant go through that kind of speed. Ok this is a simulation, so anything is possible right? Need help with my Israel 2 Campaign
Stick replied to malibu43's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mission/Campaign Building Discussion
If you have more than two enemies, then when one base area is captured wont the campaign come to an end, or do both enemy base areas have to be captured? Sorry malibu, I was just passing what I was told and believed to be gospel. -
Beat four eggs while you have a finely chopped onion browning in butter, add garlic paste and tumeric pwder when the onions are brown; then add the eggs, salt and pepper to taste, and tomato finely chopped again, and garnish it with coriander leaf. Toast and butter, a tall glass of mango juice and Im ready to pounce on the day.

Is this WOI repackaged?
Stick replied to Dante-JT's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Remember Imagics iF-22. Came out way back in 1998(or even earlier). It was supposed to be this great and that good, but ran like a bitch. Well its now sold in India for Rs 99 by some local publisher, 'passing off' with pictures from other games. That cockpit is an example of such an infringement. The age rating on this game is 3+. Go get your kicks people. -

So long as you are not deriving monetary benefit and are not claiming the song as your own work... hey Ill be your advocate! Besides circulation among members of a club is considered private. Hint read the fine print. -
Turn to engage. Wingman made the call,I broke toward the bandit and I knew it just about all over. There was an Archer streaking toward me, fire and smoke plume filling my HUD with every passing nano-second.. (Things from the enemy's point of view). Of course he missed, and so I had to do him the honour of killing him.We began our little duet called the circle of death.. Abruptly he disengaged, and the kill was too easy.. Far too easy. From angels unknown vengeance plummeted down upon me like a peregrine falcon. Indecision, a pilots greatest enemy clouded my mind. It wasnt really a matter of choice. I gunned the throttle, ordered my wingman to cover me, and hauled the mighty Eagle up into a steep climb to meet the Arab. I had my weapons system cued to the last AMRAAM I had, and as we closed the distance, I too gave him the patented treatment. Like my previous nemesis, I too missed. I surrendered to peace under that magnificent blue sky, and then reluctantly pulled over the top of the arc to meet certain death that wallowed below. But there was nothing there. The Gods of War were merciful. The mad Arab had crashed in his fervour to kill. Kill and be killed. That old adage haunted me all the way back to Tel Nof. My time too, would come. But not just yet. Shot In the Face

They, and most people who dont like flight are slightly attention defecient, and find it difficult to comprehend a situation where there are so many variables. Sometimes running a good intercept and banging the extras requires devious strategy and relentless execution skills that are far beyond what such earthbound beings. The secret that religion doesnt tell you is that heaven is right above our heads. -

Friendly GroundUnits Not Going On Offensive
Stick replied to a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Check the subsequent posts and their respective links in this thread. Baltika and ezlead put my campaign which was going very awry into the right perspective. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=28862 It will cast light on why no offensive seems to be forthcoming from the friendly side Heres a quick look see at what ezlead helped me with My take on: ForcewithInitiative=? The side of the conflict which initiates the offensive action. 1 means that the friendly forces initiate the action. 2 means that the enemy side initiates the offensive. 0 means that neither side initiate action until the supply number is high enough to sustain a ground operation. At least in my campaigns, that seems to be the way it works. If you increase the the supply numbers the ground operation seems to start sooner. If you notice,as you fly progressive missions, you get more supplies(missiles, bombs, etc)in the loadout screen for a mission. In the Israel campaigns, they had a limited amount of supplies,so you have to be careful about how much you ordinance you expend. It all depends on the number of supply when you start and how often you are resupplied. And this gentleman was dead ON! -
I think if the Lavi's production wasnt so abruptly terminated, Israel could have been well on her way to building her own 5th Gen fighter. If the veracity of claims like political pressure from the U.S so that its arms exports werent threatened, can be proven, then I dont understand why the Americans expect any less then having their designs being stolen by the lowest bidder. High-handedness begets low-handedness. If a bully punches you in the face, you kick him in the balls, or you steal his girl if his balls are made of steel. 'One hand giveth and the other taketh away' attitude doesnt work in business. Or wasnt America paying attention to the lessons of Al Capone, and Frank Lucas. He who enforces a monoploly will effectively swallow a time-bomb. It is high time we made friends, or at least recognize our real friends before we shove a boot up their arse, in sick jest or a mere show of might. Haven't we warred enough? Havent we killed enough people in the name of God alone knows who remembers what? The clear and present danger of terrorism is the example of the degeneration of mankind, the chicanery we indulge in. In fact,it is the bastard spawned of atrociously selfish and stupid politics.

How to convert AV-8B+ to AV-8B...?

Have you ever seen an an elephant in musth? It needs to hump, and if doesnt get any it will get enraged, and go on rampage, terrorizing the land, flattenning everything before it. We're talking 7 tons(average;they can weigh even more) of muscle, bone and sinew empowered with a Beserker's Fury. Its something to watch. Ive seen one go mad in a temple in Kerala, it threw its mahout thirty feet in the air and ripped his arm off with its trunk. And an Indian elephant is nothing compared to an African elephant.

Need help with my Israel 2 Campaign
Stick replied to malibu43's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mission/Campaign Building Discussion
Ok ist things first- no more than two forces. then, base areas must be connected. I dont mean to discourage you but theres a lot to be done, but thats the fun part right. Refer to a few of my earlier threads in the same section, Mirror deployment I think. Baltika was kind enough to shed light on a lot of my queries, and Im sure you will find many answers there as I did. Good luck -

Its the U.S navy's primary fighter, any modern campaign people may come up with will be all the more closer to fiction without this plane. -

Yes even I think that theory is a load of poppycock, had Hitler left Russia alone, he might even have won the war. But yes interesting indeed, O Maker of Terrains.
