Basically with all the attention that WOI has been getting I had had it with feeling sorry for myself. I decided to figure out what it is that I wanted. Pretty much what I didnt have. So looked at Johan217's Yom Kippur2 Campaign and said well...its a possibility. Johan217 was so kind to show me how to get around things. Here are a few pictures. Its still based on the 71 war so it needs a lot of embellishement to be be plausible in a modern day scenario.

I second that. Diplomacy has an uncanny way of suiting political agendas. Look how Osama came out to bite the U.S in the rear. What terrain is that?

Thats almost unnoticeable- the WOI version Ra'am handles like a dream. Very responsive and can outmanouevre an Archer in a trice.

What are you doing -copying the cockpit files from the later versions or coming up with something completely new? However look forward to it anyway. I have been doing some cockpit modifications too- I added the C-130 cockpit to the A310 and B52s, not to mention the F-16 Block 50 pit to the F-16 Block 25. Im back to the Baz by the way- low speed turn can whip a MiG-29. So I grudgingly concede to you.

Kevin Ive tried it with the old types and targets ini's that came with the update for the terrain and it runs fine. So Im going to compare both, the one that came with your update and the previous one.(v 2.1) Im on WOE;catpointer on GermanyCE; didnt tamper with that, left it as it came-on vista, shaders off;only standard procedure.

Its the strangest thing -I run another terrain, say ANW then come back and it runs fine. Vista tells me the fault module is the MissileObjectdll. So I havent done anything wrong, it does run. Kevin Im sorry about the Pms and the wild airbase theories. But why after another terrain?

First I thought the Ctds were isolated to Strike missions, but I tried a CAP and it turns out its the airbase Nevatim B i think. Any ideas. Now its crashing all the time I must have bungled real bad. Ok Im going to do this again. False alarm.

With the advanced AI its no longer circles its all over the blue. I have been in scissors and other G crushing maneouvres. And my wingman with the right commands nows how to save the day.Here he takes a snapshot that is uncanny.

What I do is order my wingie in first; cover him, if he botches I tell him to cover me while I mop up and if there is an additional flight make them do the CAP. See I manage to extract everything from the Cat file. Then when I try and access the particular ini I want it doesnt respond. even when I go to to the location it is said to have been extracted to. it just sits there with its funny extractor logo cluttering up my folder Im working on vista, by the way.
