  1. Excellent. You are right on top of things MadJeff. Now all I have to do is wait `til my job springs me in an hour to go check it out! Thanks!
  2. That is one patch beta team I am VERY glad I wasn't chosen to stay on. I would place a sizable wager that Lock On's 1st path beats SF:P1's 2nd out the door. And patch #2 for LOMAC is done in 1/4 of the time...
  3. There is a certain "Aaron Watson" in the long list of External testers also. That be me. :D Looks much better in print with Nic's manual. Mucho muscularo laptop. I couldn't even dream of flying it on mine at work. What you need is one of those little, collapsible USB joysticks to slip in your laptop bag, for just such emergencies! :) Hope you have access to a high-speed connection for the soon to be released patch. It flies even better now...
  4. Have heard good things from folks on this, but haven't gotten around to trying it. Discovered a new campaign for the A-10 on Wpnssgt's site, so that one's got my free time at home sewed up pretty well for now...
  5. I voted for "Fun in the game". If all else is well, graphics, FM, DM, they all blend to create the suspension of disbelief. Once there, the actual game scenerios, be it SP, MP, or the mainstay for me, the campaign, are thoroughly engrossing, and gets the word of mouth sales going. Just some thoughts from a guy who's been combat flight simming for entirely too long... :D
  6. Testing on it has been going along rather well. The only REAL problem is that the UbiSoft offices are closed up until Monday the 5th of January, 2004. So if a patch were finalled before then, it could not be posted until that time, at least. I'm gonna pull a Stormin' and say this is all BEST case scenerio, and a worthless tidbit of information solely my own in invention...
  7. All this, and you folks don't foresee Beta `til the end of 2004? Impressive start...
  8. Nice vid, and VERY nice job on the website. Looks like this title is percolating right along nicely. :)
  9. Sounds like a pretty good place for a Harrier! :D I look forward to flying a VIFF capable aircraft. The last one I recall was AV-8B Harrier Assault, which had a faked East Timor campaign. Fun game to fly, not so good on the gameplay side however. The expanded Argetine area sounds like a winner also...
  10. Nice Facelift MadJeff. I may have to change a few things also over at The BlitzPigs site. Just to keep up with the guy across town. ;)
  11. When I used to loead those pods on Ov-10 Broncos, there was a setting selector on the pod itself, as to whether to ripple-fire, single, or salvo. It's been a few years, 20+, so I do not recall all the different settings. Once in the air though, there was no wing climbing to reset it!
