Snake eyes and their newer BSU variants have been discussed in the beta forums. They probably won't be persued for the A-10, as retarded bombs are usually loaded on fast movers, as opposed to the loiter capable A-10. When I was loading weapons on USAF jets, I did plently of snakes and BSU-49's and 50's on the F-111, but never on the A-10. TER's with Mk. 82 slicks aplenty, but not ret's. If the hornet or similar fast mover is added, I would imagine this munition type will also be added to it's inventory...

This effect, and the sound you SHOULD have heard were added with the 1.01 patch. It was awfully fun testing the patch beta to see if it worked! Going out of my way to strike power lines!

But where's that tug driver to back you out when you need him? :D I MAY try that in a tab-vee someday, if I can figure out how to get the guy to open the blast doors...

I actually slapped the patch on what has been on my hard drive since January 2003. Weird things, CTD's, etc. were happening. Total un-install, then re-install has made a big difference. See if your yaw and other items are better after Red Bear...

Well, ya live and learn. I didn't know that the USAF never flew the "B" model, and look forward to the "D" model. This B is pretty sweet. Very well done. It would just look better wothout the big ol' NAVY thingmie on the side, IMHO... :D

Am doing a re-discovery of Strike Fighters upon the release of Patch 2. Grabbed the Excellent add-on aircraft, the A-7 that MadJeff has kindly hosted. I have only one request, an non-Squid skin. :P Anyone seen a USAF skin kicking around anywhere, or shall I make a feeble attempt on my own? Naval Aviators are cool and all, just a personal preference after 14 years of doing the blue...

Err, he knows. He saw the announcement it in the BlitzPig sty last night. But I'm sure there is a story behind this one... :D

IIRC, the BIG patch got the Wally World folks up to release standards. Just download Patch 1 & Patch 2 to give it a whirl. A trade on your old CD would still be a good idea, however...

That is one patch beta team I am VERY glad I wasn't chosen to stay on. I would place a sizable wager that Lock On's 1st path beats SF:P1's 2nd out the door. And patch #2 for LOMAC is done in 1/4 of the time...

There is a certain "Aaron Watson" in the long list of External testers also. That be me. :D Looks much better in print with Nic's manual. Mucho muscularo laptop. I couldn't even dream of flying it on mine at work. What you need is one of those little, collapsible USB joysticks to slip in your laptop bag, for just such emergencies! :) Hope you have access to a high-speed connection for the soon to be released patch. It flies even better now...

Have heard good things from folks on this, but haven't gotten around to trying it. Discovered a new campaign for the A-10 on Wpnssgt's site, so that one's got my free time at home sewed up pretty well for now...

Testing on it has been going along rather well. The only REAL problem is that the UbiSoft offices are closed up until Monday the 5th of January, 2004. So if a patch were finalled before then, it could not be posted until that time, at least. I'm gonna pull a Stormin' and say this is all BEST case scenerio, and a worthless tidbit of information solely my own in invention...
