Regarding costs, the Osprey book on the British Phantoms states that a Spey Phantom was 2.5 times the cost of an F-4D. -
[Fictional] Nord Aviation HC-127B Noratlas - USCG
Spinners posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
View File [Fictional] Nord Aviation HC-127B Noratlas - USCG Nord Aviation HC-127B Noratlas for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a simple mod of the Nord 2501 Noratlas transport aircraft (originally released by Coyote Aerospace in 2021) to create a fictional HC-127B in service with the US Coast Guard in the 1960-1990 timeline. I made this for my own use but a few people were interested in it so I'm releasing it 'as is' and with just a small serial number range. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the HC-127B folder into your AIRCRAFT folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the HC-127B folder into your DECALS folder. 3. From the SOUNDS folder drag and drop the 'Hercules' file into your SOUNDS folder. That's it! Please note that the aircraft is listed as a HC-127B in 'Player Aircraft Type' and instead of creating the USCG as a new nation I have just allocated it to the USN. CREDITS As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim. Huge thanks to Coyote Aerospace for bringing us the Noratlas (the original read me is included to give credit to those who participated). And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. Regards Spinners Version 1 - Feb 11th, 2023 Submitter Spinners Submitted 02/11/2023 Category What If Hangar -

Thanks guys. I'll release it 'as is' with just a short serial range to cover four aircraft but with a new hangar screen, loadout image and loading screen. -

Us Brits get a bit teary eyed about the Lightning but for the maintenance guys it was a disaster with a MMH/FH of well over 100. Apparently, at one time this figure was an official state secret... -

Uploaded as a request by my mate Canadair, this is a simple mod of the skin that comes with the superb J-20 Chinese Stealth Fighter recently released by 'The Insky Group'. All I've done is toned down the white walkway markings and added Parani decals. I think you'll need WOI for the stock 'ARABIC3WHITE' decals. Hopefully, I've got the decal pathway correct, forgive me if I haven't but I don't normally upload skins and I'm a stranger over here in the SF1 section. Well done to The Insky Group. More please!
