  1. I'm not seeing any frame rate hit using .jpg textures since I've been converting skins to .jpg. Third Wire skins are mainly .jpg but I appreciate this is mainly to do with file size and download speed.
  2. I like the overall shape - what sort of size is it? Gripen size?
  3. Really looking forward to the Mirage 4000. I can remember reading about it in 'Air International' around about the late 1970's and thought it looked amazing! Good luck with this project.
  4. Possibly because they are part of the 3D model enabling you to have different textures (one in each skin folder) without needing different tank models - a feature not supported in SF1.
  5. SEPECAT Jaguar - No.2 Squadron, Estonian Air Force, 2014
  6. Boeing F-18S Super Hornet - F21 Aggressor Squadron, Flygvapnet, 2014
  7. http://bbs.thirdwire.com/phpBB3w/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=8809&hilit=mesh
  8. Sorry mate - great minds think alike as do warped ones!
  9. Boeing F-18EB - No.1 Squadron, Estonian Air Force, 2014
  10. British Aerospace/McDonnell Douglas Harrier GR.9E - Estonian Air Force, 2014 Sadly, the guy hitting the silk is me!
  11. Estonian Harrier GR.9 inbound this evening.
  12. Jonathan - I posted your request at the What If Modelers website and some ideas have been posted overnight: Rafale's (heavily subsidised by France as they've hardly sold any at all overseas), early block F-16's (straight from AMARC), M2000's and/or MiG 29's (ex Indian), ex RAF Jaguars... or if you really want to 'go the extra mile' Mitsubishi F-2's sold-off as a result of the second sunami disaster Don't forget ex-RN or ex-USMC Harriers/AV-8's for CIS! Something with an anti-armour focus wouldn't go astray, either..... A-10's, if cost isn't an issue. Agree with that - and there are a coupla hundred at Davies-Monthan, just have a look on G**gle E*rth (other on-line mapping sites are available !!).
  13. McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom - Lithuanian Air Force, 2014 As this is a 'what if' I've created a lo-viz version of their national marking (which has way too much white in it). The fictional nosebar marking utlises elements of the Lithuanian Coat of Arms and the Lithuanian Flag.
  14. SAAB Gripen - No.1 'White Wagtail' Squadron, Latvian Air Force, 2014 1. The White Wagtail is the national bird of Latvia. 2. Excuse the lack of 21st Century weapons - I'm stuck in the Cold War!
  15. Latvian Gripen will be shown here real soon!
  16. http://www.clavework-graphics.co.uk/aircraft/fantasy_1/fantasy_089.html Genius!
  17. Sorry mate but it was just a lash-up to see what it would look like and it's certainly not polished enough for release. However, the grey/white skin is in one of the Victor downloads at the DAT site (which is odd because no Victor flew with that scheme).
  18. After work tonight I will attempt a Baltic Gripen - not sure which nation yet.
  19. Cracking idea Jonathan. So the timeline is the present, yes?
  20. Grumman Intruder GR.3A - No.16 Squadron, RAF 'Operation Granby', 1991 HomeFries' excellent real world and fictional A-6 packs have been inspirational and this one is a 'what if' from the twilight of the Intruder's RAF career created using templates by the legend known as Wrench.
  21. Handley-Page B-59B Victors - 93rd BW, USAF Strategic Air Command, 1966
