  1. Well it's not for release but those points are nice to know. Cheers!
  2. Thank you. I'm loving the F-100D at the moment and Henrik's templates make it so much easier to produce new schemes for it.
  3. The failure of the Supermarine Swift and development delays in the English Electric P.1B programme led to an unexpected UK order for the supersonic North American Super Sabre which was eagerly received by an ailing Royal Air Force. The first of 80 F-100K's (service designation: Shark F.1) was received in 1957 and the first squadron to re-equip was No.56 squadron who two years earlier had endured the heartache of operating the Swift F.1 and were soon to encounter teething difficulties with the Shark F.1...
  4. Perhaps we're all too polite to point out an obvious and unintentional mistake....
  5. View File North American Shark FGA.2 (F-100D) North American Shark FGA.2 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a very simple mod of the stock Third Wire F-100D to give a fictional North American Shark FGA.2 (I guess the RAF didn't fancy the 'Super Sabre' name) with markings for; No.1 Squadron in standard RAF Camo with three-colour national markings. No.54 Squadron in standard RAF Camo with three-colour national markings. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the SharkFGA2 folder into your main Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the SharkFGA2 folder into your main Decals folder. 3. From the WEAPONS folder drag and drop the two 'AS' missiles into your Weapons folder. That's it! CREDITS Thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim. Thanks to hgbn (Henrik) for uploading his superb F-100D templates to the community. And thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. 6. You might need to create three skins and utilise this line (in the textureset.ini) StartDefaultDate=1961 With skin one being for those years before the anniversary scheme, skin two being the anniversary scheme and skin 3 being for the years after the anniversary. Obviously, if the anniversary is also the year of disbandment then you can cut this to two skins.
  7. Perhaps the N and S will be DLC's

  9. Nice Kiwi Jaguar (one of my favourite aircraft).
  10. Yes, OK. Just let me add another squadron and package it up.
  11. Fairchild Shadow C.3 - No.48 Squadron, RAF South East Asia Command, 1967
  12. Glad it worked out for you. I bet you hardly notice the difference in skin detail too.
  13. North American Shark FGA.2 - No.20 Squadron, Royal Air Force, 1991 Operation Granby (Desert Storm) (All made easy by Henrik's wonderful F-100D templates)
  14. Chance Vought P-48C Corsair - 61st FS, 56th FG, USAAF, England, March 1944 There was a cracking model build of a USAAF Corsair (with the markings from the Hasegawa P-47D Razorback) over at the 'what if' modelers website and it inspired me to knock this together.
