  1. Thanks. But, as mentioned, the skin is by Coyote not me. I just added the decals.
  2. I also think that SidDogg did a few for USAF Phantoms at about this time last year and it's easy enough to cut and paste the Spey nozzles onto the relevant bitmap to convert it to fit the Third Wire F-4M.
  3. I took this screenshot about two years ago and the skin is by Coyote And this is where the skin is from http://www.bobsyouruncle.net/StrikeFighterSkins.htm
  4. Sony and Toshiba. And they would have been smaller and more reliable
  5. Dassault Mirage 5PA - No.25 Squadron, PAF. Testing ghostrider883's PAF skin (over Vietnam lol)
  6. Dassault Mirage 5PA - No.25 Squadron, Pakistan Air Force @ghostrider883 - Superb skin mate! Serial Number decal is just a temp and I'll fiddle with things tomorrow night.

McDonnell Douglas Eagle F.1 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 1 This is a simple mod of the stock F-15A Eagle to give a 'what if' Eagle F.1 interceptor fighter with markings for No.5 and No.11 squadrons of No.11 Group of the RAF as they might have appeared in the late 1970's. This mod will only work with 'Wings Over Europe'. If you have 'Wings Over Israel' then it can be hacked into shape by a little bit of editing to point to the appropriate stock 'Baz' LOD's and files and also swapping the Skyflash missiles for Sparrows in the loadout.ini. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the EagleF1 folder into your Aircraft folder. That's it! CREDITS Thanks to TK for a great little game/sim. And thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. Regards Spinners Version 2 - 08/04/18 Version 1 - 22/06/09
  8. View File [Fictional] Vought F-8EJ Crusader (JASDF) Vought F-8EJ Crusader for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2:VIETNAM This is a simple mod of the stock Crusader F-8E to give a fictional F-8EJ in service with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) during the 1964 - 1985 timeline with markings for; 203rd Hikotai (overall grey). 302nd Hikotai (overall blue with sharkmouth). BACKSTORY After a long selection process the Vought F-8EJ was finally selected by the JASDF in 1962 as its standard interceptor-fighter. With it's impressive unrefuelled range, reliable Pratt & Whitney J-57-P-20J engine and powerful Magnavox APQ-94J radar the F-8EJ served with a total of eight JASDF squadrons with initial deliveries commencing in late 1964. Compared to the superb multi-role F-8E, and because of Japan's own 'self-defense' status and imposed peace treaty terms, the F-8EJ was stripped of much of it's surface-attack capability but gained a modified APQ-94 radar, wing-mounted AIM-7E Sparrow missiles and also had a very useful anti-ship capability (deemed acceptable as being an 'anti-invasion' capability) and all eight 'Hikotai' had maritime attack and reconnaissance as a secondary role. The F-8EJ's served until the mid-1980's with the 302nd Hikotai being the last to surrender this very popular aircraft in JASDF service in 1985. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the F-8EJ folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the F-8EJ folder into your Decals folder. That's it! CREDITS As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim. And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. Regards Spinners Version 2 - February 13th, 2024. 14. Create a folder called CAT (or whatever) on your desktop (or where ever, it's not important). Copy* and paste your CAT files into this folder and work from there. You can delete your CAT files from this folder when you've finished. * As opposed to cut and paste, not a good idea.
  15. MiG-17F - No.26 Squadron, 'Warriors', Indian Air Force (featuring whiteknight06604's superb Egyptian skin)

A cracking skin this, well done.
  17. Very nice and 10/10 for presentation too!

Sorry to hear about that Martin. I lost about two weeks worth over the weekend by accidentally putting some filles (including all of my decal templates) into the recycle bin and then emptying it* (don't ask). Thankfully, I had backed-up two weeks earlier but it still a kick in the guts so I'm backing-up every week and only emptying the recycle bin every week. * I am aware of the programs that can get stuff back even when you've deleted from the bin but after a good long look (and the frustration of the various 'free download' scams) decided against it. My earliest System Restore point was two days earlier than my back-up.
