  1. Thanks Wrench. I'm pretty certain that it goes right to the back of the bomb-bay. So is that a stand-in shape or the real thing?
  2. Canberra PR.3 of No.17 squadron soars above Eastern France during Exercise Counter Punch, September 1957.
  3. Bump... (as now sans bumps!)
  4. Canberra B.2 of 1/91 'Gascogne' en route to Algeria, August 1961.
  5. Rare shot of the Squadron Leader's silver Hunter F.4 of No.14 squadron, RAF Germany. (Soulfreak - this probably answers your question )
  6. Nice one Gwyn! I'll grab this one tonight after work.
  7. Canberra B.2 of No.18 squadron seen prior to deployment to Cyprus during the 1956 Suez crisis. Widesky
  8. Slightly OT but is anyone else seeing (enemy) MiG-17's crash into the ground a LOT more than before??
  9. Sounds like the weapon LODs are missing.
  10. Thanks! I hope you've noticed the absence of all those nasty bumps that our beloved Cranberry picked up whilst in the Colonies . There is a Canberra template in the downloads. I mean how do you think a ham-fisted amateur like me did that silver skin?
  11. Speedbird rising - Canberra B.2 WD920 of No.18 squadron soars above East Anglia during Exercise Kingpin.
  12. Canberra B.2 of No.12 squadron, based at RAF Binbrook, 1952.

  14. File Name: Hawker Hunter F.6 For SF2:Europe File Submitter: Spinners File Submitted: 12 Jul 2009 File Category: SF2 Series Add On Aircraft Hawker Hunter F.6 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2:EUROPE This is a simple mod of the excellent Third Wire Hunter to give a flyable Hawker Hunter F.6 fighter-bomber with markings for No.63 and No.74 squadrons of the Royal Air Force in the late-1950's to early 1960's period. INSTRUCTIONS 1. Drop the Hunter_F6 folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. Sprinkle the contents of the Decals folder into your main Decals folder. Do not just move the folder! You must empty the contents in. N.B. If you haven't got a Decals folder inside your Objects folder then simply move my Decals folder into your Objects folder. MARKINGS Both squadrons did actually operate the Hunter F.6 but the markings are slightly 'generic' and both squadrons were mainly seen with either nose markings or fuselage markings. Both are shown as default so you can delete either to suit your preference. CREDITS BIG THANKS to TK for the continuous improvement of a great little game/sim. And special thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. Regards Spinners v1.0 12/07/09 Click here to download this file

Hawker Hunter F.5 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a simple mod of the excellent Third Wire Hunter to give a flyable Hawker Hunter F.5 fighter-bomber with markings for No.1 and No.34 squadrons of the Royal Air Force in the mid-1950's period. Both squadrons were dispatched to Cyprus during the 1956 Suez Crisis and wore yellow and black 'invasion' stripes during that conflict. These stripes are reproduced here as decals so that they can easily be removed or you can move the fuselage stripes aft of the roundel to suit your taste as photographs exist showing both locations. INSTRUCTIONS 1. Drop the Hunter_F5 folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. Sprinkle the contents of the Decals folder into your main Decals folder. Do not just move the folder! You must empty the contents in. N.B. If you haven't got a Decals folder inside your Objects folder then simply move my Decals folder into your Objects folder. NOTES This Hunter F.5 is set up, just like the real thing, with just the two inner-wing weapons pylons. MARKINGS Both squadrons did actually operate the Hunter F.5 but the markings are slightly 'generic' although the serials are accurate. CREDITS BIG THANKS to TK for the continuous improvement of a great little game/sim. And special thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. Regards Spinners v1.0 12/07/09

  19. Only with widesky but, for me, it's an acceptable trade-off as widesky is superb - especially on 'scattered'.
