Turning a SFP1 Hunter F6 to a Hunter FGA 9
Spinners replied to Uhu's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
The OP is referring to Armourdave's Hunter and Ndicki's Rhodesian Hunter - two totally different 3D models. -
We have the B-1 and B-52...

Not for me, I don't really like the bigger aircraft and I also prefer the true 'analogue' SF era! -

I don't think you can but you can revise an upload to effectively 'overwrite' the original (I think). -

Eagle F.1 RAF Binbrook
Spinners posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
View File Eagle F.1 RAF Binbrook McDonnell Douglas Eagle F.1 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 1 This is a simple mod of the stock F-15A Eagle to give a 'what if' Eagle F.1 interceptor fighter with markings for No.5 and No.11 squadrons of No.11 Group of the RAF as they might have appeared in the late 1970's. This mod will only work with 'Wings Over Europe'. If you have 'Wings Over Israel' then it can be hacked into shape by a little bit of editing to point to the appropriate stock 'Baz' LOD's and files and also swapping the Skyflash missiles for Sparrows in the loadout.ini. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the EagleF1 folder into your Aircraft folder. That's it! CREDITS Thanks to TK for a great little game/sim. And thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. How do I get DT Skins to show in SF2...?
Spinners replied to AGOSTINO's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
This is a cool feature of SF2. For stock aircraft you just put your new bitmap in the skin folder and, hey presto, matching tanks! -
WOV2 A6-A Intruder
Spinners replied to lazboy's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Either the naming convention is porked or, more likely, the config.ini is pointing to something that isn't there. Does this add-on rely on something from TK's WOV A-6A? -

Hawker Hunter F.6 'Luftwaffe' for SF2:Europe
Spinners posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
File Name: Hawker Hunter F.6 'Luftwaffe' for SF2:Europe File Submitter: Spinners File Submitted: 20 Jun 2009 File Category: British Aircraft This is a simple mod of the excellent Third Wire Hunter to give a flyable 'what if' Hawker Hunter F.6 of the West German Air Force with markings for JG71, JG72, JG73 and JG74 for the approximate late 1950's to late 1960's period. As it uses stock Luftwaffe serial numbers I think you really need the latest SF2:Europe but it should work in SF2 also as the F.6 LODs are in there too but you might not get the serial numbers. You can swap the skins and decals around to suit - have fun. Regards Spinners Click here to download this file -

Thanks EricJ but TK makes it sooooo easy. That's his new Danish Hunter skin and stock decals. His skinning is really under-rated and some of his skins are superbly weathered. I'm working on the silver skin in the background but it doesn't come easy for me. -

Arabic Serial Numbers
Spinners posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I've got a merged install of SF2/SF2V/SF2E and seem to have lost all of my Arabic Serial Numbers - I can't even locate them in the CAT files. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just my install
