  1. No news I'm afraid. It makes sense for it to come out after SF2I - and I can't wait for the Meteor F.8 !!!!
  2. I'm not sure but since SF2 (Dec 2008) we've gained*; Tank275_F100 ALQ-101 ALQ-119 SA-2E SA-8 SA-8B So it will be one of them. *Plus the Soviet Rockets Pods UB-16 and UB-32 were correctly named (on an earlier patch).
  3. I think the stock RAF skin with Indian Air Force decals will be OK - the camo scheme looks identical.
  4. 'ArabicSN' was definitely in SF2 because I used it for my Dhimari Hunter FGA.9 but it's not there now and neither is Arabic3white - but both are listed in the decals.ini inside some of the skin folders in my install.
  5. View File De Havilland Vampire FB.7 de Havilland Vampire FB.7 for SF1 This aircraft mod will create a 'what if' de havilland Vampire FB.7 with colourful post-war markings for No.6, No.8 and No.20 squadrons of the Royal Air Force. This is a revised upload that was originally for SF2 but mistakenly got left in the SF1 section when the big SF1/SF2 split happened and as I can't get SFG/WOX to work on my W10 desktop I've not been able to test it. I think I've got the reverse engineering right but the one thing I can't do is sort out the rockets and tanks (it's so much easier in SF2). INSTRUCTIONS 1. Drop the Vampire_FB7 folder into your Aircraft folder. That's it! CREDITS As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim. Thanks to Pasko for this superb add-on aircraft (one of his many), Gramps for the skins and also Don (C5) for the FM. And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. 9. They are slightly whiffy . I'm just about to release a fictional Vampire F.8 with markings for No.3, No.4. No.98 and No.263 squadrons. Here's the loading screen...
  10. Vampire FGA.7 of No.6 squadron (The Flying Can-Openers), RAF Middle East Command.
  11. Vampire F.8 of No.263 squadron, RAF Fighter Command.
  12. They'll be eagerly awaited! Let me know if you need any help with decals (inc. serial numbers).
  13. Boys. I've checked out your mug-shots and I'm reminded of the saying, "If you look like your passport photograph you are too ill to travel".
  14. In my triple merged install (SF2/SF2V/SF2E) I used it remove the rocket pylons from Pasko's super little Vampire. It should work but try making the 'destroyed node name' the same as the 'model node name' and see if that helps.
  15. And another little building block goes into my knowledge bank too!
  16. I'm on my laptop and not my Strike Fighters desktop (there's nothing else on that -LOL) but I've just downloaded by Super Sabre FGA.1 to remind myself. Basically you add the bit you are trying to lose as a component. In the following example it's the wing mounted refuelling probe; Component[001]=Fuselage Component[002]=Nose Component[003]=LeftWing Component[004]=RightWing Component[005]=LeftStab Component[006]=RightStab Component[007]=VertTail Component[008]=LeftOuterWing Component[009]=RightOuterWing Component[010]=Probe ----------- add this line Component[011]=Crosse Then add the following; [Probe] ParentComponentName=wing_right_inner ModelNodeName=probe_ok DestroyedNodeName=refuel_base DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE You can call the component anything you like, e.g. Bernard - it's the ModelNodeName that needs to match the name of the mesh that you are trying to remove. You can also remove parts by making them a weapon station but the above is, by far, the best method. Dave's F-100A Taiwan upload is worth a look if you'd like to see more uses of this method.
  17. View File RAF B-1B 'Bone' Skin pack RAF B-1B 'Bone' Skin Pack This is a simple mod of the existing original release B-1B skins to give three 'what if' RAF skins. All I've done is add a bit of overspray to the tail fin, change the canopy glass to a cool blue tint and add some decals. This very minor update just places the decals in a 'D' folder in each skin to suit the SF1 format. INSTRUCTIONS Just drop the 3 skin folders into your B-1B folder. CREDITS BIG THANKS to 'The Bone Team' and, in particular, to the creators of the two original skins; "Skins by ST0RM, Syrinx Jat81500 and my boy Jimmy B!!!!" 18. No rush, I think it's going to have to be a next weekend project.
  19. Anti-Flash White with 'Dambusters' markings???
  20. Well, it would have been rude not to...
  21. Vampire F.8 of No.98 squadron, RAF Germany soars over the Fassburg countryside.
  22. I can make parts go away but haven't mastered the fake pilot (or alternative) for adding parts. A tutorial on both would be good!
