  1. "So the pupil becomes the master" More early 1950's USAF Aggressor shenanigans as an instructor-flown Gloster Glory falls into the sights of a F-84 Thunderjet.
  2. The Gloster Glory prototype soars above the Gloucestershire countryside. This is Pasko & Column5's lovely little La-15 'Fantail' masquerading as the Gloster Glory - Britains first swept-wing jet fighter. BTW The 'Fantail' flies really nice!
  3. I did think twice but a devil appeared on my shoulder and said "do it".
  4. Sukhoi Su-13 of 10th squadron, Siły Powietrzne Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej.
  5. CF-86K of No.414 squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force.
  6. TSR 2

No problem mate, I just wanted to make sure that the credit goes to where it's rightly deserved.
  7. Very inventive WK. BTW I heard their national anthem this afternoon whilst watching "The Sound Of Music" Dohar, a deer, a female deer...
  8. Having secured the Canadian deal McDonnell wanted to capitalise on it... The TAC F-4C on the left is sundowner's superb F-4C 'early' skin (grab it at Column5) and I love looking at pictures of those early TAC F-4C's and the handful of F-4B's loaned to them by the Navy.
  9. TSR 2

Whoa! I have about 1% of the talent needed to produce that! That's Craig's creation and Sundowner's superb skin. I asked Sundowner a few months ago for permission to post that pic to that site.
  10. Hi MAKO69 and thanks for your comments. It's just the stock F-4C skin with a cheat line decal and older style leafy roundels. I just knock them up as one-offs for a 'what-if' modelling website (see my signature for a link). To lick it into shape for a release I'd need to do do 2-3 hours work as it's missing loads of stuff like serial numbers, modex numbers, 'RCAF' decals, 'Royal Canadian Air Force' decals, etc. With limited time (family, work, other hobbies) I just like to leapfrog from one thing to another and not get bogged down.
  11. Unsuccessful 1962 McDonnell Aircraft Corp. proposal to Canada.
  12. Thunderbolt GR.1A of No.6 squadron (The Flying Tin Openers) Royal Air Force. I've always loved the markings of this famous RAF squadron since seeing them on Phantoms in the early 1970's.
  13. That's dreadful bad luck. I like your skins so keep up the good work
  14. Slightly off topic but the Draken was a very advanced aircraft for its day and the radar in the 'F' version was the longest-ranged in Western Europe until F-15's arrived in Bitburg (and I'm not forgetting the Phantom). Back on topic, a good source of ideas are the Tony Butler 'secret project' series of books and also www.secretprojects.co.uk http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php
  15. October 1973 - An IDF Crusader F-8H shoots down an Egyptian MiG-19.
  16. Playtime for two Dassault Mystere IV's of the 44th Aggressor Fighter Squadron based at Ash Fork AFB, Northern Arizona, 1956.
  17. Wow! Looking really good. I've enjoyed reading up on this relatively little-known Swedish sexplane.
  18. A fantastic addition and right up there with the very best. Chapeau!
  19. The prop is back. And this time it's personal...
  20. Hunter FGA.9 (stock WOE, very satisfying) Phantom (all really but the 'S' is my favourite) Thunderchief (stock)
  21. Two Dassault Ouragans from the 44th AFS (Aggressor Fighter Squadron) head to the Ash Fork Training Range, North Arizona, 1952.
  22. That must be a 'War of the Roses' thing. Let it go girl! I'm not flying props at the moment but I admire your work on these Veltro2K - Keep up the good work.
  23. Thanks SB but you just know that MiG is going to blow up in my face and bring me down!
  24. I'm a bit late to the WideSky party but just wanted to say thank you cellinsky for such an awesome mod.
