  1. View File McDonnell Douglas Hornet F.2 (F/A-18F) McDonnell Douglas Hornet F.2 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 1 This is a 'what if' RAF Hornet F.2 interceptor with markings for No.5 squadron of the Royal Air Force. Erwin_hans was good enough to release a blank skin so it was a easy to knock-up an RAF Superbug. This is a fine add-on aircraft for 'Strike Fighters 1' and 101tfs and Erwin_hans have created a true masterpiece - one of the very best add-ons available and I'd like to thank them for their hard work in bringing this aeroplane to us. Please note that in this revision I've simplified the effects and sounds to use stock files and you'll want to change the loadout.ini to suit the weapons you've got as, again, I've left it to stock. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the HORNETF2 folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the HORNETF2 into your Decals folder. P.S. Remember to set your Single Mission EndYear=2010,2020,2040 or whatever in your Options.Ini! CREDITS Thanks to TK for a great little game/sim. Thanks to 101tfs and Erwin_hans for creating the first F/A-18F. And thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. Regards Spinners Version 2 - 04/03/18 Version 1 - 02/08/08 P.S. 4. This might be way off but I've had a couple of 'black screen' crashes (not CTD's) using the new F/A-18F in WOV and cured it by setting the End Year to 2040 in the Options.ini

I'm a bit late to The Ugly Bug Ball but THANKS guys!
  6. Good news indeed! Keep up the good work!
  7. View File Corsair GR.2 - RAF Strike Command LTV Corsair GR.2 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 1 This is a simple re-paint and 'ini' edit of Florian's (Amokfloo) superb TA-7E Corsair II to give a 'what-if' Corsair GR.2 of the Royal Air Force circa 1975. I did this skin back in 2008 and apologise for it being a bit rough but I just love the RAF camo schemes of that era and slightly later, especially with the 'B' type (Blue/Red) roundels. Apart from adding a screenshot for the downloads section I've just added some serial numbers. Anyway, Florian's original readme is below and I'd like to thank him for his good work and also echo his thanks to triplethr3at and Armourdave. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the CORSAIRGR2 folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the CORSAIRGR2 into your Decals folder. CREDITS Thanks to TK for a great little game/sim. Thanks to Florian for the TA-7E. And thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. 9. I downloaded this last night but I haven't had a chance to fly it until now. What can I say? (US) It's a Cadillac. (UK) It's the dog's b*ll*cks. (F) Chapeau!

From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the THUNDERSTREAKFGA1 folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the THUNDERSTREAKFGA1 folder into your main Decals folder. 14. Subscription Plans NOW Available

Spinners has spun in  (there goes the neighbourhood ) £3 per month. A weekly magazine for another hobby costs me that. Keep up the good work!
  15. I'm a ham-fisted modder but I'd like to join. Thanks.
  16. Spanish Armada Corsair A-7B. '309' of the Spanish Armada carrying Shrikes and Walleyes. The default typeface on GIMP is a pretty good match to create an 'ARMADA' decal
  17. That Scooter is da bomb. It's so sick. (Disturbingly, Spinners is getting down with the kids)
  18. That's cured it! Thanks christian59 (or can I call you christian? )
  19. Thanks Silverbolt. As a teenager my hobby was building model aircraft and I could never just build them 'straight' - almost all of them became 'what ifs' . This series of games/sims and, of course, the wonderful 'Strike Fighters' community just makes it so easy to let your imagination run riot!
  20. Curiously, mine works in SFG and WOE but not in WOV (CTD) - why would that be? With the FM I haven't actually noticed a problem and wonder what is so wrong with it.
