  5. It gets more focusing. Quite often you get two named dromes using the same field, but if you park your machine at the sheds on one side of the field, you are on this drome, and if you park at those sheds over there, then you are at that drome Cheers Shredward
  6. Hi Lima, I've long since deep sixed my P3 datafiles, so I would just be speculating. It may be that 70 is still listed as a bomber squadron until conversion to Camels is complete. Another possibility is that 70 is listed as a bomber unit in the master file, and is unable to convert. There may even be other things deeper in the code - I can't check, cause I am away from home. If you spot anything more, let us know. Ennyhoots, it won't be an issue in P4. Cheers, shredward
  7. Albatros BII

Older than that, and you'd have a Wright Flyer!
  8. Yeah, if it keeps up, I may start punting them to the pub. One in awhile is okay, but when it gets to the point where you can't see the painting for the graffiti... The Shredder
  9. Thank you Herr Olham, but I would be remiss if I did not point out the grey Wizard Winder as being the one responsible for the particularly excellent fireworks to entertain all the little Hobbitses on a fine summer's day Cheers Shredward
  10. When you wish upon a star...... Cheers Shredward

  12. Fateful Morn IV

Hi Dej, Beautiful and evocative work. I tried to find the letter for Inglis' machine, but came up empty. It isn't recorded in the Sturtivant bible, nor could I find it anywhere else. Inglis is associated with an earlier machine that carried the letter Y, but that is no guarantee that E1294 carried it. Cheers, shredward ps - I just noticed that you have Y on the upper wing. A prudent choice!
  13. P4 DEVELOPMENT SCREENSHOTS

I for one think you have shown us a great mix, and I wouldn't touch them. I think they are great. Cheers, shredward
  14. Landscapes of WW1

If you are there at the right time of year, the ghostly outlines of trench systems, gun pits and strong points are still visible in many places in the ploughed fields along the Front Cheers, Shredward

  18. P4 DEVELOPMENT SCREENSHOTS

That could be what he was referring to. To my knowledge, the fabric all came from the same place, but as you pointed out, rib tapes varied. The other major variation, even within the same batch, was lozenge vs painted surfaces. DSA was the master there. Cheers, shredward
  19. Hi Guys, Naval & Military Press is having a sale on many of the titles in the Battleground Europe Series - £3.95 a pop, plus a lot of their other holdings. http://www.naval-military-press.com/books-for-the-battlefield-tourist/ http://www.naval-military-press.com/skin1/images/booklists/NMP-Catalogue-Issue-133.pdf Cheers, the shredder
  20. Do your homework before you start slinging mud mister. Rabu withdrew from OFF years ago, and now devotes much of his time to helping one of the other sims. He is a very long-standing member and builder of the Great War avsim community, having worked on many many sims and mods, all the way back to RB, and anything he says is to be taken seriously, even if the post is more than a year old. You, on the other hand, are dangerously close to earning yourself another official warning. shredword
  21. A question about Roundals

Positioning of the cockades varied by date, batch and contractor. Check Sandbagger's skins. Cheers, shredward
