  1. BANIDOS TEAM

Hee hee hee.... Expecting a lot of small details my friend and multiple versions. 2048x2048 or 4069x4069?
  2. Awesome Russouk!!! In addition to what you have... Any chance of modifying the model to the following: 1. A Twin Engine with thrust vectors? 2.. A more soviet T-50 nose section and forward fuselage shape? 3. How about a F-16E vertical tail base type section? 4. A DVI intake style? 5. Keep the twin nose wheel? 6. A revise canopy without the extended back-end shape, a more F-22 type of canopy? Cheers!
  3. https://code.google.com/p/gimp-normalmap/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Jdo3ZmtPWk After re-read Russouk's description... "PLUGIN" I was missing the plugin!!! I have uploaded the place to get the plugin and the youtube video showing how and the various basics. This is for GIMP 2.8... MAKE SURE YOU READ THE "README" FILE ON THE SETUP!!! Try to upload the normal bump map, the file is too big. But as you can see on the screenshots, SUCCESS! I just have to work on the depth and other things. Cheers!
  4. Russouk, I am using GIMP. Not using Nvidia Plugin... How do you get the bluish color? I am having problem of getting depth?
  5. I try to see if I can do the bumpmap? I gave up, not getting the result I wanted. I still need to learn the correct technique. I had to zoom-in on the photos to see bumps...
  6. We are all pulling and praying for you Volker. Take all the time you need to be healthy. You will return stronger and better my friend!
  7. Yes it will my good friend. Unable to do a lot in recent weeks. I re-did the PIRATE, GPS, and the lower beacon. The new PIRATE is a lot better in size, shape, and profile than before; it is not perfect but I like it. I modified a weapon base on the BK-90. I called it "Claw" a stand-off weapon. Also, tweak the weapons position. The fuel tank is done, with light weathering.
  8. Trying to figure out the parts for the fuel tank... A little bit more tweaking and it will be good to go.
  9. You were flying at night? Because during day time, you can see the slimmer work just fine but at night it does not shows like my photos? I guess I must have been doing something wrong?
  10. Russouk, Yup, the slimmer is part of the Max Files, it is in the OUT.files... What do you suggest, as far as I know only BongoDriver has the Max Files for the bird. Thanks
  11. Thanks Russouk I had to redo the "Pirate" (adjust the specular and the glossiness), it was too bright and cover too much of an area from different angles. I think the new one turn out good, a good match to the aircraft. Also, did a little panel lines for the Pirate. The decals for the Eda is pretty set. Now I can just concentrate on the rest of the skins and the weathering. Always room for improvements. Of course, endless tweaks. Also, the "slimmer" does not work at night. I assume it is part of the Max files and you cannot make the changes without the files? Any suggestions from anyone would be great? How about using the "fake pilot" method? Cheers!
  12. Yes, I know about the Ala 11 aircraft being used by Ala 14. In fact, all new production aircraft has been flown but are mainly kept in flying condition until the Eda decide what to do later (they are meant to be use by Ala 14). Currently Ala 14 uses "rotational" aircraft from Ala 11 for their usage by Esc 142 of Ala 14. So, you will continue to see Ala 11's bird being photograph as Ala 14 aircraft...
  13. Testing the following: -Pirate -GPS -Revised bottom beacon (same setup for GAF, LSK, and AMI) Disregard the decals, it is not fully done or set properly. There is a mesh issue on the afte upper rear fuselage, I think we are stuck with that since Bongodriver has not made any updates. Hats off to all the skill 3d Max users. I spent hours trying to make the right "fake pilot" parts for this bird. I am still not satisfied but I think it is pretty good. Yes, two different Ala 14 emblem. The serial for Ala 14 will be the new serial system by Eda, example C.16-10002. Cheers!
  14. When the testing is done, that is when the tone down and the weathering will be added and adjusted. Everything is just set at 100% for convenience.
  15. Sundowner - love the modification you made on the nose gear, twins!!! Volker - Always love your phantom work. You still have a lot to share with us... HAF AUP, TuAF Terminator, JASDF Kai, IRAN, and a whole lot of what if mods
  16. Thank you very much guys, appreciated... All of you guys have contributed much work at CA. Again, lets hope "BongoDriver" can finish his jet!? Otherwise it will have added items via fake pilot method... All operator will be included: RAF, GAF, LSK, Eds, AMI, RSAF, and Oman
  17. Sundowner, No, this is my own templates. There is a template of the older EF-2000, which is a different model and .LOD. This is the more detail and complete re-done by BongoDriver's original EF-2000 Typhoon Beta. I do not know of any templates for his Typhoon Beta, it is not loaded on CA?
  18. I cannot remember...? But multiple people have indicated that only the Autodesk 3ds Max 2009 32 bit can be use to build items for SF2 series? Is this correct? Can any other version of the 3ds Max be use for any SF2 stuff, can it be port over using the "twObjectEsporter" with a later version such as the 3ds Max 2014? Anyone can answer this question would be great. I have to make a decision on the version ASAP. Thank You.
  19. Ian, Thank you very much... I will take look at it when I get home. I need to figure it out on how to do the same thing on GIMP? Thanks Soulfreak for the example too. Thanks everyone... greatly appreciated
  20. Thanks Kevin, I will take a look at it. I have been searching for a while with no luck. That is why I made this post request. Worst case, would be copy and paste method base on what the community already have.
  21. Thanks Russouk, but I already have that font. I needed the outer highlighted type for both GAF and AMI.
