  1. My First Project Car

    With or without a B16A?
  2. Wow, nice. Any backstory on the JMSDF Cats? (And the only thing I can associate the word Maikaze with is some doujin/fan studio.)
  3. And more of random what-if/whatever F-4s.
  4. ...Well, I heard Singaporean ones can fire AMRAAMs. Not sure about Thai's.
  5. Can't really, it is the Spanish RF-4C (since they have the 'Winder launchers) from TMF, although I would post up CFT positions. Season to taste. Under [Fuselage] in the data.ini, add these: SystemName[024]=CFT01 SystemName[025]=CFT02 Renumber the SystemName if required. Then right after the last weapon entry, add these: [CFT01] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=19 <--- Renumber StationGroupID=8 <--- Renumber StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=-0.875,0.37,0.70 AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,-45.0 LoadLimit=1400 AllowedWeaponClass=FT AttachmentType=NATO,USAF ModelNodeName= PylonMass= PylonDragArea= LaunchRailNodeName= MinExtentPosition= MaxExtentPosition= FuelTankName=Tank370_F4 NoJettisionTank=TRUE [CFT02] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=20 <--- Renumber StationGroupID=8 <--- Renumber StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=0.875,0.37,0.70 AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,45.0 LoadLimit=1400 AllowedWeaponClass=FT AttachmentType=NATO,USAF ModelNodeName= PylonMass= PylonDragArea= LaunchRailNodeName= MinExtentPosition= MaxExtentPosition= FuelTankName=Tank370_F4 NoJettisionTank=TRUE In the Loadout.ini, add these for each defined loadout (meaning ALL defined loadout), and renumber them to correspond to the StationIDs of the CFTs in the data.ini: Loadout[19].WeaponType=Tank370_F4 Loadout[19].Quantity=1 Loadout[20].WeaponType=Tank370_F4 Loadout[20].Quantity=1 They would not be selectable in the weapon selection menu, but they should show up once you hop into the plane. For the covered rear canopy, I used Wrench's F-110A as the basis for this idea, although I did away with the hump. CrimsonRoamer did an F-4X mod some time back, but no words on its progress.
  6. Yeah, they are the second sub-variant of new-built F-15Es to get AESA, after the F-15Ks. Back to the F-4, there was a thread by Sundowner about a British Phantom with the nose from an RF-4C: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...n+with+phantoms Plus this insanity that I came up with: CFT positions might need fixing, so yeah.
  7. Because as much well-loved the Phantom II is, there is something called "moving on". By the time Vietnam War was over everyone realized that the Phantom does not exactly fit the requirements set by everyone, and everyone wanted a fighter that can do the Phantom II's roles, but better. Navy shot down the swing-wing F-4 because they wanted the Tomcat (which end up not having a pound for air-to-ground till the 90s), and the Air Force realized that they needed a better air-superiority fighter than the Phantom II and went for the F-15 (which proved itself to be very good, and basically created a strike fighter variant out of it through the F-15E...and one have to realize that both programs to search for the new fighters are already in place in the 1960s). Plus not to mention what was happening on the other side of the Iron Curtain, and the F-15 proved that it can do more than having better air-to-air capabilities than the Phantom II. Also, what's wrong with the F-15? Plus with the myriad of F-4 users out there, anything happens. The only problem is whether it is worth it to carry out the upgrades, and would the Rhinos support them? (most of the F-4Es/F-4Fs out there are more than 20 years old.) Some of them got to the level of the intended air-to-air missile truck, especially with the AMRAAM-capable Rhinos (Luftwaffe F-4Fs are also tested with the IRIS-T, which is basically a counterpart of the AIM-9X, and pray hard that we might see them on the Greek F-4Es). Basically, everything is done in the name of progress.
  8. ...That is sort of expected from an 'airliner', though a small one.
  9. Diamonds might be a girl's best friend...

Funny. I want a laptop with a better-than-mid-range graphics card and a 15.4" LCD (14.1" acceptable, to replace the very laptop I have been torturing because of WoE), while my brother wanted a tablet PC (since he would not game with a laptop). Reason I don't feel like having a desktop for gaming is that because I sit in front of a desktop for less than 2 hours a day, and coursework means I would use a laptop most of the time.
  10. TMF RF-4C modded into some super-interceptor of some kind.
  11. ...And they'll move to Ye-152s? I could imagine more than a few people here going for the Tomcat (not me).
  12. My First Project Car

Nice story. It is a good thing that most things are done hands-on over Stateside, here they would usually pay someone decent cash to get the whole thing done.
  13. Let us Get Down/ゲッダン

What the heck, seriously. More of this insanity: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mCPsWcvRDs <--- Horse what? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYoo_nYiOsE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUsdYBiCI38 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=507Oj1L1zyY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvt4HZJ89Po These are made of wtf and orz.
  14. I need hawt sex0r very fast

Because we... /me proceeds to do the GET DOWN dance.
  15. These is the kind of aircraft-related anime/manga/doujinshi we should see instead of pantless girls flying around.
  16. I need hawt sex0r very fast

    So where are the tentacles?
  17. I got one up. Stock engine specs (at least for AD's F-105D-31), completely NOTHING (no ammo, 25% fuel, except for the "kct's special wingtip 'Winders"), but added with the NF-104A's rocket booster (values for the booster is not tweaked at all, except positioning of the booster + exhaust emitter). For the pit shot, I should have looked at the LEFT instead... Was planning on a fictional interceptor, but eh.
  18. Very easy on the ANW, especially if you want the other guy to become part of the mountains.
  19. B-36 at like 30+k feet above the sea level. Jeremiah Weed: Nice pic. What terrain is that?
  20. We would probably need a weapon editor to give us an easier way to look at the values for the said weapon, since this is kind of the way it has been done for the past few years. Though, this is best left for TK to answer...
  21. Well, some of the modders would probably give instructions for both versions in the same mod. Saving some of the hassle.
  22. You would need to make sure the target is locked before you can fire the Sparrow. Otherwise: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=11165
  23. Fubar, this is what I saw at the FAQ thread: That is why I said the new games would be awesome for modding.
  24. ...I think it was mentioned that it is just the process of putting the folder of the said weapon (example, a folder for an AIM-9L including .LODs and .bmps) into the weapons folder, and the game would recognize it right away. The question is the .ini parameters that must be included in the individual weapons for this to work. If that is true, then adding weapons the old way would be a thing of the past.
