  1. Decals.ini file

The Decals.INI are in the Aircrafts' skin folders. Users/ name/ saved games/ FE2/ Objects/ Aircraft/ ex: Neiuport17/ No.60 Squadron/ Decals.INI , Texturset.INI , and .bmp's for the skin. For the stock aircraft you'll need to unpack the "ObjectData" (security Cats) folders first. Found in the games main location: C:/ Program files/ Thirdwire/ FE2/ Objects/ ObjectData001, 002, 003, 004. What i did was copy all 4 of these files and paste them into my Users/ ../../Objects/ folder then unpack them. That way it's easier to place all data that you want to into their proper locations.
  2. File Name: New formation for Attack aircraft File Submitter: quack74 File Submitted: 14 April 2012 File Category: First Eagles Object Mods This will show you how to create a new formation for all of your attack aircraft. It will create three Squads with six elements per flight. They will appear to be in somewhat of a Vee formation with slight differences in altitude from one another. This works for FEG and FE2. 4. Well I've tried many times to get the Zeps to be farther apart too. I even created a new nation in the "Nations.ini" and called it "German Zeppelin". So in the L63's data.ini the nation name should be changed to German Zeppelin. In that new nation I called the formation type "Bomber3". And in the "Formations.ini" I created a [formation_type] called "Bombers3" and set up the x,y,and z coordinates to spread out the Zeps in the formation. 1 squadron, 1 flight and 1 element (trying to create just one Zep to appear). I've tried to do this with other aircraft aswell. No matter what 1 to 2 aircraft will appear randomly even if the Formation.ini calls for 1 aircraft in the formation. Just the way TK programed it I guess. I hope you follow what I'm saying. If you want to fly the L63, in the loadout menu just delet the other L63's in your flight so you will be the only L63. If you want my data that I explained above I'll send it to you. But even if the L63's are AI they will randomly be 1 or 2 max. But when there is 2 they're stacked ontop of eachother. Nothing I can do about that...I think. I've tried doing the new nation thing w Verner Voss' triplane. So if I fly for the RAF i could possibly see a lone Tripe that would have Voss' custom skin. I could create a start and end date for the new (Voss) nation. But I cant get just one Tripe to appear all the time when I edit the new Formation.ini. again nomatter what 1 to 2 planes will appear randomly. So sometime I would come across two Verner Voss Triplanes. Kind of defeats the purpose. I'm still trying to figure something out to get one aircraft to appear for the Zeppelin and any solo pilots out there.
  5. Some pics of Fokkers to shoot down those DH-4's and 9's. These planes will be in my "Independent Air Force" campaign using Stephen1918's new DH aircraft. Thanks so much for these Stephen1918. These arent pretty pics just stuff Im working on for you.
  6. Someone's goin to lose this one!
  7. Flik60J vs No.28Sqn
  8. For the next campaign i will be renaming the terrain towns and cities from the vogesen terrain. Since there is no Italy or Austrian map its the best I can do. some Aviatiks of Flik16 flyby:
  9. I have sooo many skins for the Austria-Italian front I dont know where to start with packing them all up for download. I have 9 Aviatik D.I aircraft folders (Flik14, 16, 60, 42, 63 etc etc) each one of them has 12 skins and their own Hangar and Loading screens! Then theres the Phonix D.II and D.IIa's with all the same fliks and some. Thats just the Austrians
  10. No.139 Squadron F.2B flown by Capt. Sydney Dalrymple Vs. a Phonix D.IIa of Flik16J in the summer of 1918. Pick from my "Battle of the Piave River" campaign. Not A great pick but a cool one. And one from the old photo album
  11. Skins not working

Sorry about the "PropLoop3". I've messed w my planes so much I dont know whats original anymore. I keep forgetting about stuff like that
  12. These are the only known skins of Fokker D.VII's of JG.II in 1918. Not done yet but almost. These will be included w the "Independant Air Force" campaign I'm working on. JG.II didnt relocate to the Nancy sector east of Verdun till September 1918. The IAF started conducting raids into German territory in June of 1918. Please any input is welcome. I look at these sooo much they seem to be perfect after awhile I know they're not BTW JG.II is made up of Jasta's 12, 13, 15, and 19 (white, green, red, and yellow respectively)

The original .LOD files must be added to each aircraft folder for this download to work. For FE2 just drop in the folders into their proper locations. No.22Sqn will have a Lewis gun on the upper wing. The FM's used are from Peter01's FM downloads. The markings of each flight represent F.2B squadrons from Summer of 1917 till Spring of 1918. In my IAF campaign the SSW D.III will be used mainly with the Kests ( Home Defense units). Doing a little reskinning for the package. Lots and Lots of skins for this one too. Just like the Austria Italy campain. I will release them all when the campaign is ready.

Isnt it amazing how many planes were developed at such an early age of flight itself?! Considering what was available in 1914 and then what was available at the end of 1918 it is just amazing. Skinning is just a bottomless pit too. BTW that DH-9 and DH-4 that stephen is creating will be the mainstay to my "Independant Air Force" campaign from mid summer 1918 till the end of the war. Look it up, it was quite an active campaign. Cant wait stephen1918 !
  20. File Name: Nieuport17's of No.60 Squadron File Submitter: quack74 File Submitted: 01 March 2012 File Category: Nieuport Skins This is a skin for the Nieuport17 of No.60 Squadron. The Nieuport17's were used by No.60 Squadron from the Winter of 1916-17 till the mid-Summer of 1917. Then to be replaced by the S.E.5. Original silver base skin made by Hansa. The decals will provide a somewhat random cowl and wheel cover color according to flight. Ex: The first aircraft of B Flight (B 1) will have a red cowl and the third aircraft in B Flight (B 3) will have red wheel covers The First aircraft in C Flight (C 1) will have a blue cowl, etc, etc. Enjoy, Quack74 Click here to download this file

  23. Here are some pics of the Hanriot Hd.1's for my 1918 Austria-Italy campaign. There are a few great skins done by Sinbad that are already here at CA in the FE download section.
  24. Some more pics of my Austrian Fliks using the Aviatik D.I and the Phonix D.II and D.IIa's. I'm getting really close to posting them all. I NEED A TERRAIN FOR THEM
  25. Almost done with my "Fliks"

I've really only been playing my "Austria-Italy" version of FE for a long time now. We have so many planes that belong to that front now thanks to Stephen1918. It has such a different feel than the Western Front. I think FE could be the only sim with an unoffical "Austria-Italy" campaign if only there was a correct map of Northern Italy. I would have no problem doing the skins and the campaign data and all the text write ups. Too bad I have no idea how to use the Terrain Editor. I would do it myself.
