Many thanks Mue, I have given v0.61 a good workout and it seems to be working fine, without the system freezes I was consistently getting with v0.60. Great job, and an essential tool! -

Here is mine, with the OSG log file option enable at the start. I was able to make about 6 or 8 rotations and movements of the aircraft before my PC froze. osg_logfile.txt -

Mue Here is the logfile from the PC which is giving the system freezes, from just after a freeze. It may be a coincidence, but after turning on the OSG logfile option in Debug it took a lot longer to freeze. osg_logfile.txt -

Mue I have just tried the new V0.60 LOD Viewer on my PC at work, and it works fine, moving and rotating that B-26 without any freeze. Here is the OSG file from that. I will try V0.60 on my other PC, the one that has been having the system freezes, later today, and send you the OSG file from that. osg_logfile.txt -

That is one of the aircraft I have been looking at which causes the system freeze, so maybe it is just my PC. -

Mue, I'm getting quite a few system freezes using this latest V0.60 LODViewer - the hard sort which requires a power-off and then power-on PC reset, not the soft Cntrl-Alt-Del sort. It happens two or three times in a row, immediately I try to rotate or move the LOD, then after reset I can use the Viewer for a while. Sometimes it happens again, after a few minutes of use. I use the Alt and mouse keys for movement and rotation. It seems to happen more readily with more complex aircraft models. The little A5M Claude (6000 polys), for example, gives no problems, but Veltro2k's B-26 Marauder or the A-Team's new B-26 Marauder (both 42,000 polys) freeze every time, usually at the very first attempt to rotate or shift the model. Any ideas on this? -

There is, of course, an actual Skyraider cockpit, made by Dels, which looks a lot better for the Spad than that old A-4 Skyhawk cockpit. It is available in the KAW mod, I think. -

Having a lot of fun hunting trucks in the new Blohm & Voss BV-141. This is one very weird-looking aircraft, and it is not a dogfighter, but if you keep really low (under 200 feet) the enemy fighters will have trouble targeting you, and you can do a lot of damage to the vehicles. -

Geezer: I have been flying FE1 and FE2 since they were first released (in 2006 and 2010 respectively), so your simple-minded epithet "SF fanboy", although no doubt intended to be offensive, means nothing to me. It is fairly clear that, as you say, the only thing that matters to you is your own opinion. But for the rest of us, your 63% objects are just so much useless rubbish. They are far too small to be useful or to look realistic in these sims. They make the sim look like flying over hobbit-town, not WW1 Europe. Wrench has probably made or upgraded more terrains than anyone (perhaps with the exception of Edward, one of whose first terrains was for FE, WWI Cambrai), and they both use only 100% objects. You should listen to Wrench - what he said earlier in this thread was: "the 63% comes from the size of the TERRAIN. Not the objects." All stock objects in FE1 and FE2, vehicles and buildings, are 100% of actual size. There are no 63% objects, except those made by you. And it is not "SF fanboys" saying this, it is long-term FE flyers, who care about accuracy and, in the sim, versimilitude. Make what you like, for your own artistic interest, and when you produce accurate quality products, like your Gloster Gladiator and Fiat CR.32, I will be among the first to praise them. But don't expect unalloyed praise when you make a fundamental design error and turn out rubbish which cannot be used.

Agreed. The aircraft Geezer has released thus far, the Gladiator, Fiat CR.32 and Fiat CR.42, are great-looking models.

That Fiat CR.32 is one of the best-looking aircraft I have seen in this sim, it was great to see it released. A beautiful and detailed model of what I think was always a very attractive aircraft! The Vickers Valencia is not what you would call a beautiful aircraft (big and awkward are two words which come to mind) but it would be great to see it in the sim too. We already have a Vickers Wellesley, though:
