  1. Interesting. What coordinates do you have for the airbase shown by this map: it looks like it would be in negative numbers. Does SF accept negative numbers for map coordinates?
  2. I'm pretty sure that the light green cockpit is an untextured part of the model, which you can't fix unless you have the source code for the model. The Wolf aircraft are accurate models, but are in some respects a bit dated - most date to 2005, and have been overtaken by current standards. There are more recent P-40 models (B , E and F) available, both here and at the DAT site, which do have textured cockpits.
  3. Don't think it looks like the Fairey Swordfish. My bet is another Dornier, or an Amiot of some kind.
  4. Too thin for the He-111, and I think too long for the Bf-110. Something French, maybe?
  5. Now that is an aircraft! Beautiful looking model, and it can lay down a serious amount of bombs. I like the nifty bombsight with it.
  6. It is governed by the Options.INI file in the main Strike Fighters mod folder, by the lines: [GameplayOptions] MissionStart=1 SF2 only seems to use as options 0 or 1, previously SF1 had 0,1 and 2. I haven't tried to see what happens if you alter the Options.INI in SF2 to read MissionStart=2, but it might work.
  7. You have to admire the men who flew machines like this, against Bf-109s and Bf-110s.
  8. Nice objects, thanks a lot Geezer! Now the experts have to work out how to include them.
  9. A Bleak and Lonely Post...

First you complain about the bleakness and cold, now you are complaining about the warmth of a couple of thousand cubic feet of hydrogen catching fire underneath you. There is no pleasing some people :)
  10. "Eeps" or "EE-pray"?

Pretty sure it is "Eepr", with a silent "s". But "Wipers" it is, from the First Battle in 1914, to the Tommies.
  11. Why is this download file an EXE file? It makes me suspicious.
  12. Nice aircraft, thanks mate. I love these rare birds. The four BMP textures for each aircraft take up a lot of space, so I tried to use JPG's instead. JPGs work fine for the wings, but not for the fuselage, which just show up as white/gray, which is odd. The BMPs work fine, though.
  13. OT--Anybody Know What This Is?

Well I was right about the Pz I turret, anyway - what a way to clear mines!
  14. OT--Anybody Know What This Is?

My bet is on it being a fake - some sort of Luft '46 fantasy. The turret looks very like the turret from a PzKfw I, but the whole thing looks like a very great deal of effort to go to, to move a couple of machine guns around!
  15. Nice job, thanks mate. I think the original was by Edward, this brings it well up to current standards.
  16. Yup, that's what I use for the Canberra :)
  17. I don't know that hiding things works in cockpit INI files, as it does for aircraft LODs. I think you have to physically move them back, out of sight. Try this in the cockpit INI file: Instrument[061]=HidePart1 <-and check that these are sequential to the preceeding entry Instrument[062]=HidePart2 [HidePart1] Type=AIRSPEED_INDICATOR NodeName=P_HUD MovementType=POSITION_Z Set[01].Position=-100 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=-99 Set[02].Value=1.0 [HidePart2] Type=AIRSPEED_INDICATOR NodeName=CP_HUD MovementType=POSITION_Z Set[01].Position=-100 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=-99 Set[02].Value=1.0
  18. Halberstadt D5

    Looking good, thanks Geezer.
  19. What a little beauty, thanks Spinners and Veltro2k!
  20. Looks great for a SWOTL install! The look of the panel lines on the fuselage and wings is very good. But what is it - an Arado Ar-234P, or a Heinkel or some sort? It looks a bit like the Heinkel He-219 around the nose. The cockpit looks good to me - maybe repaint the internal panels so they look consistent, is all it needs, I think. Or Pasko's old He-219 'pit would work pretty well.
