  1. In one of the thread of comments on the post on FB there is a comment by Thirdwire to the effect that they are planning on porting the mobile games to PC. Wonder if we'll be able to access the data, and will it be compatible to move to an SF2 install?

  3. USMC units begin to move inland from the beachhead: As reinforcements continue to come ashore via a shuttle service of LCACs and CH-53s But the Soviets have no intention of letting the Marines have everything their own way, and begin to move forces forward to push the Yankees back into the sea: A USMC Bronco recon flight spots the incoming Soviet armour The Marines dig in And wait for air support to take out the threat To be continued.....

  6. In response to the 1986 invasion of Dhimar, USMC forces operating from amphibious assault ships in the Gulf of Paran and airfields in Dhimar spearhead the counter-attack with a landing on Parani territory to capture the strategic port city of Izmat and a major engagement begins....
  7. I think that torpedoes are classed as sea skimmer missiles with no LOD but just a wake effect. Check out the WW2 weapons and mods.
  8. "well that sucks on hidden objects. thought two is: do you think the sub could sit much lower in the water? that is to where all but the periscope are below water?" You mean like this, by Fubar512 back in 2008? http://combatace.com/files/file/1684-november-class-ssn-submerged/
  9. So I took the excellent AH-1J International (TOW) by yakarov79 and added some tweaked USMC skins from his AH-1J (80) to give myself a faux AH-1T. I know that there are structural and other differences to the 'real' AH-1T but until we have one in SF2 my USMC units now have some heavier anti-armour capability in 1980's scenarios.
  10. Carrier ops aboard CVAN-65 (with Intruders using the wrong skin - don't you just hate it when that happens!)
  11. Try using Winrar instead of 7zip.
  12. In the Odanance Shop II weapons pack there seems to be a tank CFT in the Drop Tanks folder.
  13. Didn't DiD's EF-2000 games have British voices?
  14. Have you set the percentage chance of the flight appearing to 100%?

  17. File Name: C-130J-30 Shimshon Israeli Air Force Skin File Submitter: allenjb42 File Submitted: 13 July 2016 File Category: C-130 Israel established 103 squadron in May 1948 to serve primarily as a transport unit. The squadron was initially composed of several DC-3 and DC-5 aircraft, and added three former US Navy Catalina aircraft in 1951. The Israeli Air Force merged 103 and 69 squadrons in 1954, at which time B-17 aircraft were part of the 103 squadron. During the Sinai Campaign of October 1956, France loaned Israel ten C-47 aircraft, and Israel also acquired three N-2501IS Noratlas aircraft in 1955. Over the next ten years, 103 squadron added additional aircraft, some of which were subsequently transferred to other squadrons. The Six Day War of 1967 provided 103 squadron with another opportunity to act in its air support role, although one Noratlas aircraft was lost. The squadron continued its air support operations during the Yom Kippur War, and it had received eight Hercules C-130H aircraft by 1976. The first C-130J-30 entered service in the IAF on the 9th of April, 2014 and received the nickname Shimshon, Hebrew for Samson, in recognition of it's load carrying capacity and also as a counterpart to the English nickname Hercules. From flightglobal.com: As of 2016, Israel is said to be close to starting negotiations linked to a planned deal to boost its fleet of Lockheed Martin C-130J tactical transports, sources in the nation have indicated. Three of the airlifters – named "Samson" in Israeli service – are already in operational use at Nevatim air base. Another two will arrive this year under with a further example to follow later. The air force previously outlined a requirement to introduce additional examples on top of those six. Meanwhile, the operational experience gained by the service in operating the new-generation Hercules since April 2014 will lead to an increase in the number of Israeli-developed systems integrated with its fleet. Most of the enhancements – designed to support the needs of the Israeli Defence Forces' depth command – are incorporated at Lockheed's Marietta final assembly site in Georgia, while other equipment is added in Israel. ---------- Israeli Air Force 103 'Elephants' Squadron skin for Dels C-130J-30 Repaint of Dark Grey RAAF skin that came with the C-130J-30 mod Installation --------------------- Just drop the contents of the file(Objects folder) to your mod folder and let it overwrite existing files. 21. I think that any skins for the F-15A_Baz can also be used for the stock F-15A. You would just need to rename the .bmp files to match the F-15A names.
  22. I'm thinking of updating the A-6E SWIP and USMC (and doing some other A-6 variants): 1) AIM 9s were carried by USN Intruders. Did Marine Corps aircraft carry them too? 2) Did Marine Corps A-6s carry nuclear weapons? Navy aircraft did. 3) Did either Navy or Marine Intruders carry AGM 65 Mavericks on triple racks? I've seen illustrations in books but no actual photos. Thanks
  23. Shimshon, now with squadron badge and correct serial numbers. We'll soon get high with a little help from my friends Jarek and Kevin! Question - I have permission to release the skin, but does anyone want me to create a full nationalised Israeli Shimshon aircraft (with Dels' permission of course)?
