  1. Sorry, can't help. All I did was a bit of .ini editing and collated some skins.
  2. BTW the RAF never sent any Harriers to Desert Storm (but we would need a GR7 for that time period), nor any carriers, although Invincible went to the Med I think. RN carriers would have had Sea Harrier FA.2s at that time which we do have available.
  3. In the first Korean War these are the countries that sent troops to help South Korea - from http://korea50.army.mil/history/factsheets/allied.shtml :- Fifteen foreign nations other than the United States and South Korea sent combat forces to serve in the United Nations Command in Korea during the Korean War. Five noncombatant nations provided hospitals or ambulance units. Approximately 150,000 foreign servicemen fought, and foreign casualties included 3,360 killed, 11,886 wounded and 1,801 servicemen missing in action. There were 1,376 foreign prisoners of war repatriated to 12 countries in 1953. Foreign Ground Forces Fourteen foreign nations sent ground forces to Korea. Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom comprised the British Commonwealth Forces. Belgium, Luxembourg, Colombia, Ethiopia, France, Greece, the Netherlands, the Philippines and Thailand had battalion-sized units attached to U.S. Army divisions; Turkey deployed an infantry brigade. Foreign Naval Forces Eight foreign nations deployed more than 100 naval vessels to Korean waters, including carriers, destroyers, cruisers, frigates, landing ships, tankers and other utility craft. Foreign naval vessels were assigned by U.S. commanders to Task Force 77, the carrier strike force; Task Force 95, the blockading and escort force; Task Force 90, the amphibious landing force; and Task Force 96, the logistical support force. Foreign naval vessels participated in the Inchon landing; the evacuation of United Nations ground forces from Nampo, Hungnam and Wonsan; shore bombardment of North Korea's coastlines; and patrols of the sea lines of communication to South Korea. Foreign Air Forces Australia's 77th Fighter Squadron was the first foreign unit to arrive in Korea on July 2, 1950. It was attached to the 35th U.S. Fighter Group. South Africa's 2nd Fighter Squadron was attached to the U.S. 18th Fighter Group. It provided close air support to U.N. forces. Australia, Canada, Greece and Thailand provided air transport units to the United Nations Command.
  4. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7946758.stm Here's a google image search about the drone in question, the Ababil 3: http://images.google.co.uk/images?sourceid...l=en&tab=wi
  5. Some references for Fencer skins, and they're good sites anyway: http://www.geocities.com/alvmaia2/Sukhoi/25/index.html http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww4/b/657 Strange though, I would have expected the Syrians to use a camo skin like Iran, Iraq, Algeria and Libya. Instead they wear the standard white\grey scheme.
  6. That worked great. Thanks Eric. Defence Suppression missions suddenly got a lot more interesting: Love the asymmetrical loadouts you set up btw. In fact I'm loving these planes full stop. Well done to you, FC and the rest of the team. And to think it all started because you didn't like the angle of the pylons on the first F\A-18F model....
  7. Russian Fencers attacking a Ukrainian airbase: One of them wasn't so lucky, but he took some of the enemy with him:
  8. Quick question: I'm using the community weapons pack, and even though I can get JDAMs in my loadouts for the Superhornets how come I don't get JSOWs? The guidance and attachment types seem identical.
  9. Great stuff Kevin. Is there any chance you can post a screenie of your ground object folder so I can make sure I've got everything? Thanks
  10. ktickner6767, I would recommend: 1) downloading and installing one of the weapons packs from the downloads section. 2) navigate to the Thirdwire/Wings Over Europe/Objects/Weapons and open the weapondata.ini file you'll find in that folder. 3) Copy and paste the Tornado fuel tank data you showed in your earlier post into the weapondata.ini file as the next entry and make sure you change the WeaponDataxxx to the next one in sequence eg if the last one in the list is [WeaponData100] then your new entry will be [WeaponData101] 4) Save and close the weapondata.ini file 5) Open the weapon editor program and then select open. You then need to navigate to the weapondata.ini file you just added the Tornado tank to, and open that file. 6) Scroll down the list of weapons and the bottom one on the list should be your newly added Tornado tank. 7) Doubleclick on it to open it and then click OK to close it again. 8) Click save and then you can close the program. 9) Fire up Wings Over Europe, seect a mission with your Tornado and you tanks should be available.
  11. I was so busy adding the right planes to my various installs that I only had time for one mission last night.... Took a flight of 2 Russian MiG 29Cs for a recon mision over the Black Sea terrain. En route we were intercepted by 2 Ukrainian MiG-21s. They never stood a chance, falling to an Archer each. As we got back on track the RWR started to chirp and my wingie started calling missile launches, but Red Crown was saying we were clear of threats. I took us down into a valley and we flew NOE to the target, an airfield just over the Turkish border. We overflew the airbase low and on 'burner and the air defenses opened up but never caught us. There were some Ukrainian An-12s on the tarmac, which should give the Brass the excuse they need to widen our offensive. No doubt we'll be flying sweeps and escorts in future. On the way out we picked up a flight of Turkish 8 F-4E 2020s on the nose, I think they were the guys lighting us up on ingress (and the debrief confirmed it was indeed the Terminators lobbing AIM-7s at us. I would have gone for them but thought discretion was the better part of valour, and we went back down low and around them instead, and made a fast run for home. Looking forward to flying more missions tonight, and going up against them too. Great release guys.
  12. A world exclusive for C5! Well done sir. And thanks to all TMF for these great planes.
  13. That's an aircraft included in WOI only.
  14. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...uette&st=20 There was an Alouette III project, but unfortunately it's been cancelled. Maybe someone else will have a go? As for the SF-260, I don't think anything is being worked on. If you want to use my Angolan Mi-24 skin (or any of the other African ones) please feel free. I've got skins for Capun's Mi-8 series for Angola and Mozambique that are very early WIP. I'll try and get them out in due course. BTW, I've seen some posts about doing this for SF2. Wouldn't it make more sense to use WOI as the base program? it includes the Hunter, as well as the Israeli jets that you're contemplating using, and with the Dakota to be included in the Suez addon, you'll get another SAAF/Rhodesian bird in the hangar without having to get permission to use a third party version.
  15. Phew! Thought I'd pasted the wrong link for a sec!
  16. Isn't this the Lynx, by another name? http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?s=&am...st&p=247632
  17. Looks like those Forger WIPs will have somewhere to fly from.
  18. Looking forward to all of these Baltika. Maybe hold off on BoB until Veltro finishes the Defiant?
  19. I think there are 9 arrows in the map picture, and there are 9 B-70s in the comic picture. I think we're getting this comic, I mean graphic novel, in episodes. Or there could be a new version of OTC in the works. Or a B-70?
  20. AH-64A WIP

two Apaches would be good. You could have an A model and a Longbow model with the mast mounted radar.
  21. Maybe a sea tile with a carrier painted on it? Or does that sound silly?
  22. Yep. The data.ini will extract to the Objects folder, so you will then need to cut and paste it to the individual plane's folder in the Aircraft folder.
  23. Heros of our Time..

  24. Greece Prison Escape

To misquote Oscar Wilde: To lose these prisoners once may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose them twice looks like carelessness.
