  1. File Name: He-111H3 Romanian Air Force, 1941 File Submitter: allenjb42 File Submitted: 19 Dec 2008 File Category: HE-111/JU-88 and Other Twin Engine Aircraft He 111 Skins Readme These skins are for the various versions of the He-111 created by the Dev A-Team and modded by me. The skins are interchangeable between aircraft versions, but for historical accuracy you should install them to the appropriate model. This skin is based on the work of Alessandro Biagi for the Ground Crew Design Team He-111H series for CFS2&3. To install, just extract the file to your Objects\Aircraft\He-111xx folder and go fly. It's that simple! The skin should be available in the drop down menu of the He-111xx Hangar Screen loadout section. Heinkel He 111H3 Romanian Air Force, 1941 Thanks must go to the following: Alessandro Biagi for his work in creating the skin (I just converted it for use in SF) and for his kind permission in allowing me to bring the skins to the SF community. The SF Dev A-Team for creating this plane to fly in the Thirdwire sims. TK for SF,WOV,WOE,FE,WOI and who knows what else. Have fun, and good hunting! Allen (allenjb42) Burton Any problems, find me at combatace.com, simhq.com or the A-Team Skunkworks http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ Click here to download this file

  4. Nice one mate! This thread sheds a bit of light on the Karpada http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=33867
  5. One of Edward's photorealistics IIRC, since we don't have a real Russia terrain yet. Here's some Hungarian Heinkels en route to target:
  6. The Person Below Me

False! I used to slip over the border every weekend to help out in my dad's shop in Wrexham. I always thought it was cool how the radio mysteriously started playing 'It's Not Unusual' by Tom Jones as soon as you passed the Welcome To Wales sign! The person below me agrees that Sean Connery is the one and only James Bond.
  7. 9 POTA (9th company Die neunte Kompanie)

It was on TV a few months ago - I thought it was a great film and bought it on DVD the next week. It's supposed to be based on real events, but I'm not sure how closely.
  8. Veltro mentioned making a Defiant in one of his threads...
  9. RAF at 90 TV prog on Last Night

Thought it was a very good, sober account of what it's like to be in the RAF, or any other military force. Not what I was expecting, but probably all the better for it.

  11. O.J. Simpson found guilty

Just saw on the news he got sentenced to 'up to 33 years.' http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7767556.stm
  12. What's missing from the sim? Anything on the Israeli Air Force list that's got a 'No' next to it! Seriously though, I think TK has spoiled us with his open architecture as it means that virtually anything can be added to the sim, be it new aircraft, ground objects, terrains, a simulation of mid-air refueling and so much more. I'm sure TK will improve upon everything in time, we just have to be patient. So what I'm trying to say is that I'm more than happy with what we've got and everything else that comes out, be it from TK or our talented community, is just much appreciated gravy.
  13. List updated for Lloyd's Rapide skin, triplethr3at's TA-4H, wilco's A-4N (Early), DAT's Cessna T-41 Mescalero and Lockheed Constellation, and Velto2K's Vatours (how did I miss those?). Thanks very much to all concerned, and keep up the great work guys. Also, some new decals at Hannants this week that might be of interest to the half-dozen interested in early IAF skins: ISRA Aircraft conversions (resin) ISC32001 1:32 Israeli Air Force F-16C Block 40 conversion (designed to be used with the Tamiya F-16CJ kit) £13.45 £11.70 Http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=ISC32001 Aircraft decals (military) ISRA72 1:48 Israeli Air Force Mosquitos T3; NF 30; FB 6; TR 33, PR 16 in various camo schemes. £13.86 £12.05 http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=ISRA72 ISRA73 1:72 Israeli Air Force Mosquitos and T-6 Texan/Harvard. 14. Here you go Kevin http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/lib...23-usaeur01.htm Looks like it was an unopposed landing. I do get your point, though - after all, isn't that why there were no more large scale drops by the Germans after Crete? And that was without SAMs!
  15. Some scenario ideas... http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/t/harry-...s-of-infamy.htm http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/t/harry-...f-beginning.htm
  16. Grenada?, Panama? - Weren't there some combat para drops into northern Iraq in 2003? Great model Veltro btw. Looking forward to it.

  18. I just downloaded it but I'm at work so can't put it in game at the moment. What I can see, though, is that there are several nested folders so that might be part of the problem. All you should need to do is put the Hawk Red Arrows-Marcfighters folder into your Hawk_T1A folder in your Objects\Aircraft folder and add this to the Hawk_T1A.ini file: [TextureSetxxx] Directory=Hawk Red Arrows-Marcfighters Name=Red Arrows - Marcfighters Nation=RAF Specular=1.0 Glossiness=0.75 Reflection=0.20 Where xxx is the next skin number in sequence. A lot of the early Marcfighters skins never included textureset.ini files in the skin folders as Marc included them in revised aircraftname.ini files instead. Hope that helps. BTW I was going to offer to nip down the M62 to look at in person - don't think I'll be able to pop over to your current location though!
