  1. If you're in the fly-by view watching a plane in flight then you see the plane in the distance, it gets closer then fly's away into the distance again. Now, if the plane you're looking at is on the airfield then it won't be moving, so it won't get closer, and the game will just show you that plane at a distance. If there are other planes in the foreground (like those F-111s) then that will confuse you as what you're supposed to be looking at. Hope that makes sense!
  2. Pretty much everything except for a terrain and skins are available for TK to do a modern Korea scenario (say 1970s or 80s). As well as land based US and South Korean F-4s, F-15s, F-16s and A-10s, you could have carrier ops like WOV, with maybe the F-14 and E-2C joining the A-6 and A-7 that already exist (with the Intruder being ugraded to an A-6E) and the MiG-29 and Su-25 joining the bad guys as new aircraft this time around, not to mention Chinese versions of the MiG-17 and MiG-21.
  3. I'm really going to have to update the Israeli Air Force thread now!

  5. Happy Birthday 76.IAP-Blackbird!

    Many happy returns!
  6. There aren't F-8s in the revetements in the background are there? I've sometimes found that in the flyby view when I cycle through the other planes the view of planes on the airfields isn't necessarily of the nearest plane on the screen. Try cycling through the other planes when you're just in a normal outside view like F5 or F6 and see what happens.

  11. I'm certain there are RAF camo skins already included in the Tornado and GR1A/ECR packages. There's also a Tornado skins pack in the skins download section that might have camo skins too but I'm at work so can't check. As for Harrier winter camo I found this in the skins download section http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=3366 I think that JP233 will be included with the new Tornado that Florian's working on - I think he posted a picture not too long ago (maybe in the screenshots thread?). Hope that helps.

  16. Version

    83 downloads

A-26C Skins Readme These skins are for the A Team A-26C and are conversions of the skins created by J-P 'Graywolf' Demerlle for his GZR A-26C for MSFS. To install just extract the skin to your Objects/Aircraft/A-26C folder, load up your sim and then go fly and blow things up! The skin should be available in the drop down menu of the A-26C Hangar Screen loadout section. Thanks must go to the following: Graywolf for his work in creationg the skins (I just converted them for use in SF) and for his kind permission in allowing me to bring the skins to the SF community Capun, for hooking me up with Graywolf in the first place and, with his A Team, for bringing us the A-26C to play with. TK for SF/WOV, WOE and who knows what else. Have fun, and good hunting... Allen (allenjb42) Burton Any problems, find me at combatace.com, simhq.com or column5.us

  18. Excuse me, dumbazz.....

Well it looks OK to me, except he didn't drive far enough into the water so the boat floats off the trailer!
  19. I was referring to the Tom Clancy novel 'Red Storm Rising,' which is of course fiction. this is from Wiki: The F-19A Ghostrider, which shares the same physical characteristics as the Revell model kit, appears in Tom Clancy's novel Red Storm Rising, where an entire chapter is devoted to its exploits ('The Frisbees of Dreamland'). The stealth attack fighters, nicknamed 'Frisbees' by their pilots in reference to their smooth, curved shape, use AIM-9 Sidewinder infrared-guided air-to-air missiles to shoot down Russian IL-76 Mainstay airborne early warning aircraft, thus allowing NATO fighters to penetrate Russian-controlled areas of Germany and bomb the Soviet forces massing there. To further facilitate the attack, the F-19s use nose-mounted lasers to illuminate targets for other fighters and bombers dropping laser-guided bombs. But you knew that, didn't you? Keep up the good work with all of the Il-76 variants Veltro.
  20. Nice target for the F-19
  21. Operation Tainted Cigar - an awesome what-if campaign based on the Cuban Missile Crisis.
  22. Happy Birthday JediMaster

    Many happy returns!
  23. Sorry for not replying Stratos. Yes I've based my install on WOE. I never edited the terrain. The nations .ini and the other .inis in the terrain files take care of everything I think, and the new nations pack which I have as standard in most of my installs includes Ukraine. All I did was to create nationalised versions of various planes and ground objects, which was mainly copying various Soviet planes, helos, tanks, SAM and AAA vehicles and making them Ukranian. Where I didn't have a Ukranian skin all I did was to nationalise the Soviet skin I wanted so that Ukranian marking showed up, as I figured that for the most part the planes have similar colour schemes.
