Danke! Ich mache mir auch nicht wirklich Sorgen, ob ich etwas finde - es wird nur schwer etwas zu finden, dass vom Umfeld her vergleichbar ist... Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt, die Arbeit hatte mir Spaß gemacht und ich hatte tolle Kollegen (und einen klasse Chef)! EDIT: Und es ist natürlich ärgerlich, dass weder ich noch irgendwer sonst in meiner Firma in irgendeiner Weise verantwortlich für die ganze Sache ist - wir haben immer hervorragende Arbeit abgeliefert, und für die Verhältnisse unseres Kunden für einen recht geringen Preis...

Naja, kann man nix machen... Allerdings bin ich im Moment auch nicht besonders gut auf Amis zu sprechen Eine politische Entscheidung des Mutterkonzerns unseres Hauptkunden (diesen dicht zu machen) hat dazu geführt, dass ich ab morgen Urlaub habe - und zwar meinen Resturlaub (+Überstunden) bis zum Beginn meiner "Arbeitslosigkeit am 01.04. (kein Aprilscherz!)...

Moin! Ich habe zwar auch schon im Silent Hunter Unterforum etwas dazu geschrieben, aber vielleicht kann mir ja hier einer helfen... Ich habe bei der Installation per Microsoft Installer (MSI) grundsätzlich das Problem, dass Umlaute als "?" dargestellt werden. Bei SH3 scheint dieses Verhalten nun die Installation zu verhindern... Interessanterweise sind die Darstellungsprobleme auf einem virtuellen XP-Rechner (Sun VirtualBox) nicht vorhanden, die Installationsroutine läuft dort auch ganz normal (was natürlich nix hilft - der virtuelle Rechner hat keine 3D-Grafik...). Auch eine Systemreparatur per Windows CD hat nicht geholfen... Mein OS ist übrigens WinXP SP3 (bei SP2 war das Darstellungsproblem auch schon vorhanden...).

I have a really strange problem. When I'm trying to install SH3 (Green Pepper version) I always get an error message just moments after starting the installation (When it is "Validating install")! The german version of the message is incomplete, the english one is: "Error 1324.The path Der Wei? Penguin.tga contains an invalid character." followed by a second message box with "Error:-1603 Fatal error during intallation. Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information.". My system is a Intel Core2Duo 2.66GHz with 2gig RAM and a GeForce 880 GTS, running WinXP SP3.

??? Could you please do us all two favours? -Try to hit the right keys when you are typing (and read what you wrote BEFORE sending it...) -Give a few more information what you intended to archieve, what happened and ask a precise question! (As far as I know the Mystère has a skin...)

Did you place the files in the aicraft folders of the zip in their respective folders of your install? Oh, wich WOI version are you using? (if you are using the last patch I wouldn't recommend to place the *_DATA.INIs in your install - they might screw the FM up...) I'm not sure if the "ISRAELME_TARGETS.INI" is essential (definitely not for flying the aircrafts, but maybe for playing the campaign) so you should drop in in the correct folder, too.

In the aircraft's folder (not in the "aircraft" folder ), together with the cockpit folder.

But careful! If you are using the newest patch you shouldn't overwrite the *_DATA.INI of the planes!!! To add a cockpit: add the line "CockpitDataFile=" with the correct name of the cockpit.ini (or change it if there is already one).

The only problem is: It could not improve the performance - if you double the size you triple the mass (roughly)... So you would need REALLY powerful engines to compensate that! (reason of edit: math fail )

the Dhimari and Paran roundels have to have the same number as the nations.ini entry! For example ... [Nation123] Name=Dhimar ... needs insignia123.tga

Maybe you could create an album in your profile to upload all these pics (not sure, never done it...).

@ Shin: A little tip - NEVER link to files on your HD - it doesn't work...

I think show missile=true means the missles are shown at the model (so the correct value for a missle launched from a "tube" should be "false"?)... You don't need it to see the missle inflight.
