  1. I dont think that they have a tail hook. If you're okay W/ only having upswept and full or 1 partial sweep setting you could probably link it up to that as long as you dont attempt carrier traps.

    I hate the modern philosophy of 1 item many uses, or the jack of all trades. i much prefer having multiple aircraft assigned for at most 2-3 jobs, depending on the airframe (Cept the C-130 those hercs can do almost anything, airlift, tanker, bomber (daisy cutter, moab) and rescue.)

    E-8s are bad to fly when there are migs on your tail. i was able to avoid them for a couple of minutes and got my wing shot off. was able to recover and fly for a few more minutes but had to punch out. I took screens but cant find them at the moment. Anyone else want to try go up against migs in a modified 707? Yes i was folling around.

    I know that i'm a bit young to really be looking into colleges, but i want some opinions on good universities that offer bachelors for flight/ AE engineering as well as AF ROTC. So far i am looking at both ERAU campuses as well as the University of western Michigan college of aviation in battle creek MI (its on the same airport as an ANG unit so i may be able to go ANG instead of ROTC and thaen aim for a pilot slot)

    Im also looking at the Purdue Aviation Flight Technology course, does anyone have info on that? Grinch, do you know if it would be better to do AE engineering w/ flight minor or the aeronautical science course (does it give a bachelors in science?)

    unless you have a thrust to weigh ratio greater than 1:1. then you nose up and keep going until you tailside and lose the bogie.
