Thanks. Anybody can put together a 1930s dogfight situation using FE/FE2. There are lots of late 1930s aircraft in the SF1 download section - that's where I found the early Stuka. They usually drop right into FE2 if you alter the Aircraft Start Date in the aircraft data file to 1914.

Had some fun this morning, experimenting with 1930s FE2. MontyCZ's excellent Ju87A looks great over Gterl's Alps. Because Italy and Germany were adversaries in WW1, the early Stukas are then jumped by CR42s.

You are so right! Sometimes what appears to be a minor change can ripple through the entire model development process, and require enormous amounts of new work. I admire the way you DO revisit some of your many aircraft, and allowing needed changes to accumulate before releasing an update is the most efficient way to revise models.

BTW, here' s shot of A-12 Shrikes in Hawaii in 1939. White scarves and wheel spats!

Hi - Yes, a new Gauntlet - suitable for Africa - is in the works. I could map the model, and using Hinchinbrooke's old files, get it flying ingame and then send it to you for skinning? Lemme know if you are interested. And, yes there is a Sea Gladiator version flying ingame. I started the skins, but then set it aside hoping I would hear from you. Check for PM - files for test version attached. EDIT: BTW, the Gauntlet's only kill in RAF service was in Italian East Africa - a Caproni Ca133.

Steve - You've really captured the look of the aircraft. SPAD two seaters (11 and 16) were never able to match the earlier success of the single seaters (7 and 13). As you pointed out, they weren't agile enough to be a fighter. Not too surprising when you think about it, as the single seaters weren't known for their agility either. Another excellent job.

More excellent work!. Nice cockpit too.

Thanks. I'm thinking of painting it to look like this.
