Long lasting Pilots are getting heavy

Me I would be happy to just make 30 hours my problem though is I get to reckless and go for the kill and I always end up in dogfights below 500ft which a WW1 kite really shouldn't be doing... I just have to transfer my patience in real life across to the virtual world... -
Okay just done 3 flights with my new pilot and not one of them finished okay... Most likely something I have done it just goes to black... or maybe the Gremlins in my PC are having a laugh, I get 3 Kills with less than 150 rounds and my PC is in shock... oh well onward we go... Saying that though the Sopwith Pup is a wonderful little airplane apart from I do find the limits of Stress and Speed far too quickly though I am used to a Strutter...

Slightly OT - WW1 kites
Slartibartfast replied to sandbagger's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Thanks for the share and whats OT about it as its all WW1 derived... and the look great... -
Thinking about it I don't think there are any anymore the old style Elite Frontier from Dos days are gone... X3TC is a great Sandbox to play in yet it has jump gates and some of those systems you get are rather large and as to the Graphics well they are the most up to date. There is Orbiter which is a Falcon version of a Flightsim so you need to do everything right just to get into orbit... http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/

BVR is as far as I remember not against the Geneva Convention. As an ex member of the RAF I know it was practised as BVR is the only way to kill another aircraft sometimes. Also a lot of the Air to Air Kills in Gulf 1 where BVR and the majority of kills over Bosnia and Kosov where BVR with Amraam's. Anyway NazGhul as I said great skins... -

Runway numbers..?

It's there to confuse you... makes you think your flying the wrong way... Interesting as I must admit sometimes I am just happy to see an Airstrip in front of me... -
As a regard to Shot Placement I will agree as... I spent 10 years being paid to shoot by the UK military. But I will say this for my job I was fortunate enough to be able to choose my backup weapon and I chose a .45 simply because it puts a man on the floor. Granted I only had 8 rounds whereas my colleagues using the standard Browning 9mm had 13. The 9mm simply put doesnt stop someone unless your shot placement is damn good also with a .45 it will stop someone wearing light body armour with the correct load, it may not kill them but the energy from the round will knock them over and break bone. Personally I prefered a .308 from around 800metres... none of this close quarter stuff its seriously bad for your health...
