  1. Yes, we plan to simulate all kinds of weapons eventually, so that include weapons with datalink as the AMRAAM too. However it might be ready with the first release, but we plan to release regular updates. Campaigns would be nice, but lets take it one step at a time. The FSW add-on will only work with licensed add-on aircrafts. At least to start with. This is because the integrity and quality of FSW has to be kept at a high level.
  2. As you see in the end of the video, the target is going down. You would think that so many sidewinders hitting that airplane would totally obliterate it. And that is just what will happen when FSW is finished. But at the moment targets will just crash and nothing more. So in short the answer to your question is: Yes, there will be a destructible environment.
  3. I don't think this has been posted here, so for those who are interested but haven't seen it elsewhere: FSW or FSWeapons is an add on in early development that will implement all kind of guided weapons in FSX, air to air and air to ground, and hopefully in the future even SAMs and AI-planes shooting back. For the moment there will only be single player mode, but we have ideas how to enable multiplayer. You can read about it here: http://sul37.blogspot.com Or you can see it in action here:
  4. Ok. then I think I might ask TK for this feature in a future patch.
  5. Is this a proven fact? And if so, what is that limit 1, 2, 3 or more?
  6. I didn't notice it the when I first saw this movie when it was released, but it's a SAM hit that causes the fuel leak. First you can see a smoke streak missing the aircraft and from the same point a new smoke trail is comming towards the plane a few seconds later. Just as it passes by you see a flash and then the smoke is coming from the wing..... Cool :D I have to second that about the bomb effects. As a matter of fact I can't remember any sim even trying to graphically present a believable cluster bomb effect.
  7. Don't forget Yom Kipur http://oldsite.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/board...c;f=55;t=005710
  8. I've finished the Centuion tank and it's ready for download. But I couldn't reach the upload page on biohaz, so for now it can be found here: http://www.viktoria.se/~yorick/P1SF/centurion.zip
  9. The forum is still there and working... It's the link on the mainpage that isn't working. http://oldsite.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/board.../ultimatebb.php
  10. If there is any aussies here I ould make a special version for them as it had a few extra features :D
  11. Thanx for the offer, but after examining the INI-files for other tanks I found them far less complicated than those of aircrafts, so I think I'll manage it by myself. The Centurion should be available for download sometime by the end of the week :D
  12. Nah... I couln't resist doing it myself. It's not that much work with tanks anyway. A few more LODs and shadow and we'll have a centurion
  13. As I didn't get much of a reaction at SimHQ, I thought I'd post this here too: If anyone would like to do the work with INI-files and that kind of stuff for my model you'd have a Centurion for any middle east campaign. I would do it myself, but I have to prioritize my other projects (the swedish aircrafts).
  14. Well... someone is working on that too. I think I saw some screenshots with superb skins and it looked almost finished too, so it'll probably not be far from release.
  15. I'm working on the J29 and J32 (A32) and the Sk60 is a joint project by me and Swede. There is also work being done on the J35 Draken by Lud von Pipper with textures by Sony Tuckson. I can also reveal that my half finished Gripen model is being exported to Falcon 4.... but not by me.
  16. The reason it's in meters is probably because it's easier to use SI-units when computing the physics of the plane. The ini-files are not designed for the pilot... that's what we have the cockpit for :D :D
  17. Sweet :D
  18. Haven't done much on it as I'm working on my masters thesis right now. But the project is still very much alive. I'm also wokring on a A32 that is about to be skinned before I try to import it into SFP1... Sorry, but Ican't give you any exact date of release :(
  19. www.viktoria.se/~mano7/j29.mpg :D :D :D Not 100% serious, but a genuine film of a genuine addon to SFP1
  20. With enough thust you can make a rock fly :D :D :D
  21. As I recall the the story about this plane, the pilot got demoted for not ejecting as he was ordered by the instructor, and then promoted for saving the plane. McDonald Douglas tried to simulate his achievment with no luck. He shouldn't have been able to return safely... but obviously he did :D
  22. I've said before that I planned to make this plane when my J29 is finnished. Just to show that I'm serious, here are some early development shots: http://www.viktoria.se/~yorick/P1SF/A32/
