It still is a godd progress for the Raptor program. Apart, I agree with Nesher. Can't remember where I read it (probably here) but there was a few months ago a report made about the daily sorties over these monkeys (well... it's even an insult to the apes to compare them to these pieces of cr*p), it was talking about solely two to three flight launched every day from the mainland by the whole air forces coalition (CVW-17 was not included in).

Multiple detonations has occured at a storage station in Binhai New Area. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSjif0gcufM Actually 17+ peoples were killed and 400+ are wounded. Nearly a thousand new cars were burned too. Edit : the blast was intense enough to be automaticaly detected by Japanese weather satellite Himawari 8 .

Thinking that the second N1/L3 launch failure developed nearly 30 TJ it gives a good picture of the explosion extent. The first blast as the second and its shockwave were taken by a dashcam : and a overflight view of the scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=43&v=rUDL9NE-y1A

Hope everything will be fine for you ilwzwb. The result worsens hour after hour, now more than 50 deaths, 12 of them being firefighters, and 700 injured or missing.

Thank you for details russouk. Now let's save without constant connection... most annoying is to see that the guys laying these malwares next become creators of antivirus then (and knowing all their weaknesses).

Really disturbing... without wanting to be the troublemaker in asking you again, what was the way of contamination by the pdfs? I mean, in Zip, or any others ? Some are victims of attack by spams, others talk about Java Script updates.

Excellent ! This story ever amaze me, not only that Wittman was the "top-scorer" (even after removal of the magic multiplier fom the propaganda his score remains impressive), but the fog that still hangs over this engagement.

The Japan Air Self-Defense Force has ordered yesterday a first tranch of five Bell Boeing V-22 (Block C). A contract of 332.5 million US$ for the "package", including training and initial support. This makes Japan the first export customer for the Osprey. I'll try to add one link or more in english ASAP, I actually just found some in french, greek or spanish... EDIT : just find it in english http://worldne.ws/2015/07/u-s-japan-ink-deal-for-first-batch-of-v-22-tiltrotor-planes/

'What a stupid topic title' you should think about right now. I could not agree more with you, but this ashtray below got a little story : My dad sent me this picture today. About three years ago I posted photos taken at Le Bourget 73' airshow where we could some pictures of the Tupolev Tu-144S CCCP-77102 before its crash. It is this one that is represented here (alas with Kolesov RD-36 instead of Kuznetsov NK-144F). Now if you look at this strange piece laying on the model support, it is one of the armrest ashtrays from the 1st class that was on the aircraft. My grandfather was at this time still in the French Gendarmerie, its men and him were sent at Goussainville and he recovered it on the crash site a few minutes after the accident. He told me later that the time they arrived on the site and already a lot of debris and parts were taken away, including the pitot tube which had to be later redeemed by the investigating board.

A Tupolev Tu-95MS has crashed some hours ago near Khabarovsk. First reports announced the whole seven crewmembers as alive, but now it seems that both pilots past away. Some medias talk about a stop of three NK-12s, others of all four turboprops. According to FlightGlobal the Bear fleet is now grounded until further investigation (as for the whole An-22s when RA-09343 crashed five years ago). Another Tu-95 was lost on last June 8. http://www.defensenews.com/story/defense/2015/07/14/russia-tu-95-crash/30130517/ http://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/tu-95-crash-adds-to-list-of-recent-russian-incidents-414611/

Almost 10 years ago, like many people, I watched the launch of a particular spacecraft, a spacecraft for the study of a particular celestial object that many still do not take into consideration, a spacecraft to open us New Horizons. In nearly six days, New Horizons will pass over Pluto at 11095 km and 13.78 km/s around 11:50 UTC and will overfly Charon about a quarter later. She then continue her journey to the Kuiper belt and follow the path of his predecessors, the Voyager probes. Here you can follow her for the next days : http://pluto.jhuapl.edu/index.php

About 750 000 km and 15 hours remaining. New Horizons captured a world that is growing more fascinating by the day. For the first time on Pluto, this view reveals linear features that may be cliffs, as well as a circular feature that could be an impact crater. Rotating into view is the bright heart-shaped feature that will be seen in more detail during New Horizons' closest approach on July 14. The annotated version includes a diagram indicating Pluto's north pole, equator, and central meridian. NASA’s New Horizons mission has answered one of the most basic questions about Pluto—its size. Mission scientists have found Pluto to be 1,473 miles (2,370 kilometers) in diameter, somewhat larger than many prior estimates. Images acquired with the Long Range Reconnaissance Imager (LORRI) were used to make this determination. This result confirms what was already suspected: Pluto is larger than all other known solar system objects beyond the orbit of Neptune. The size of Pluto has been debated since its discovery in 1930. We are excited to finally lay this question to rest said mission scientist Bill McKinnon, Washington University, St. Louis. Pluto’s newly estimated size means that its density is slightly lower than previously thought, and the fraction of ice in its interior is slightly higher. Also, the lowest layer of Pluto’s atmosphere, called the troposphere, is shallower than previously believed. Measuring Pluto’s size has been a decades-long challenge due to complicating factors from its atmosphere. Its largest moon Charon lacks a substantial atmosphere, and its diameter was easier to determine using ground-based telescopes. New Horizons observations of Charon confirm previous estimates of 751 miles (1208 km) kilometers) across LORRI has also zoomed in on two of Pluto’s smaller moons, Nix and Hydra. The approximate sizes of Pluto’s moons Nix and Hydra compared to Denver, Colorado. While Nix and Hydra are illustrated as circles in this diagram, mission scientists anticipate that future observations by New Horizons will show that they are irregular in shape. We knew from the time we designed our flyby that we would only be able to study the small moons in detail for just a few days before closest approach said New Horizons Principal Investigator Alan Stern of the Southwest Research Institute, Boulder, Colorado. Now, deep inside Pluto’s sphere of influence, that time has come. Nix and Hydra were discovered using the Hubble Space Telescope in 2005. Even to Hubble, they appeared as points of light, and that’s how they looked to New Horizons until the final week of its approach to Pluto. Now, the latest LORRI images show the two diminutive satellites not as pinpoints, but as moons seen well enough to measure their sizes. Nix is estimated to be about 20 miles (about 35 kilometers) across, while Hydra is roughly 30 miles (roughly 45 kilometers) across. These sizes lead mission scientists to conclude that their surfaces are quite bright, possibly due to the presence of ice. What about Pluto’s two smallest moons, Kerberos and Styx? Smaller and fainter than Nix and Hydra, they are harder to measure. Mission scientists should be able to determine their sizes with observations New Horizons will make during the flyby and will transmit to Earth at a later date.
