good morning Ivan -
So the challange here is to NOT shoot the other aircraft down. Like an airliner in distress, or a nosy Bear peeking at the battle group. to kick off, Eastern seems to be really lost and Nordo. hopefully they get the hint to follow back to SEATAC...

its lookin sharp noticed after teh post, might wann lighten up the tail markings. it should be the opposite grey to the main part i generally did black, but then reduced opacity to about 55 or so (until it looked good to my eye anyhow) reducing at least 5-10% will eliminate the white border in game (look at you screenshots a few posts up) -

So, How do I download the mods.
daddyairplanes replied to Classified's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Even a trail subscription will get you unlimited mods during the length of your subscription my advice is to make a list of what you want then get the trial. of course, longer subs will help with keeping the lights on around here and would be appreciated. but you can still get alot for the cost of a large Starbucks-ish coffee -

there are proper block 15s in house, you dont need to improvise with stock birds and the small tail (amongst other things) is all wrong for a block 15 anyhow but the pylon issue is curious as i have it when flying a stock-ish A model -

ok thank you . would still be a Christmas or New Years present to everybody, but again a 737-100 series would be damn sexy -

Question about static airliners
daddyairplanes replied to Stratos's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
it'll likely be awhile before i go back to airliners. hell, the upcoming BUFFs are just a brief break from ANG fighters. But 737-100s are .... enticing i was hoping you were gonna release what was done. from the looks of your shots, the model was completed, although Florian liked to get it right before letting anyone else see it (ive worked a few projects where i provided model QA while skinning ) -

Question about static airliners
daddyairplanes replied to Stratos's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
nooooo.... it have to be Southwest fer shore that said, why not a few basic airlines. Lufthansa, Pan Am, BA and Air France for Europe installs, American Airlines, United and Southwest for US. iirc, dude at YAP RW got serial nums on static C-17s by declaring them non moving boats. could use my decals from over the years in a similar fashion........ yes i know im just complicating things -

sounds like a concrete (no pun intended) version of pierced steel planking, the US answer to the problem from WW2 through Vietnam. -
Question about static airliners
daddyairplanes replied to Stratos's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Ed was working on one in Coyote Aerospace, but that is of course sidelined now. it was the newer (not newest) type, so no cigar engine 100 through 300s will look at it again soon, but i think it was gonna need some MAX fixes. all we had gotten to was the slats when it left off -

talk to Gepard, i know he's done some stuff with airliners recently on his terrains. Wrench may have a few suprises in his hat as well, at least on the helo side and you know i have a half million era specific markings for the flyables i've done over the years -
@ ravenclaw_007: GBU-15
daddyairplanes replied to daddyairplanes's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
thank you theyre perfect only problem now is conflicting data. pics and sources related to B-52D show the short chord weapons being tested and carried in the late 70s. info on the bomb itself however has it not operational until 1985! but it is rather useful to one shot a target 15 miles out, then dump 84 Mk82s on the adjacent runway -

hello, first hoping everything is ok. im sending as a topic because for some reason the site says i cant send you a message now the main question: do you have any GBU-15s? all i can find are these when im lookin for the shorter chord ones like in this if you dont no worries. but figured id check with you in case. (not quite right, but workable) -

79°. trade ya 98° (36.8 celsuis i think) isnt the worst part here. its the opressive a$$ humidity and the fact that it cools down to 26.5 at night.... -

ya know, Gepards model honestly looks better to me than both of the "we have that already" posts seen. to paraphrase, maybe he's rejecting our reality and substituting his own. im surprised to see more concrete/pavement than dirt. But the man is about the only one in here i know of that served on "the other side" during the active Cold War. so i tend to defer to him on WARPAC stuff seeing as he either lived it or knows the folks that did
