will you be including NAS Glenview, Midway Airport and O'Hare International? all airfields in Chicago, O'Hare and Glenview with military presence as well. really great if you add Miegs Field. now closed, it was a small field on a peninsula (almost an island though) in Lake Michigan. mostly light civil aviation, it was (barely) capable of landing a 727 though so medium cargo and fighters should be no prob -
ok, so i'll quit clogging up the overall screenie thread with F-16s. over 4600 built. 43 years of service. over major 25 operators. there should be some variety here i'll start this show off mile high...

this actually impacted me directly, although in a minor way in 2001, the Army went to the black beret for all Soldiers. but it was discovered that many of the ones purchased for issue were sourced from China. That obviously wouldnt do after this incident. Alternate sources were found, but there wasnt enough for every Soldier to have one on 14 Jun 2001. amongst the Soldiers that had to wait were us in USAEUR (Germany). we did not get our berets until February the next year. all because of an overly aggresive Chinese jet pilot! -------------- ok end of obscure history lesson, heres a screenie -
So the challange here is to NOT shoot the other aircraft down. Like an airliner in distress, or a nosy Bear peeking at the battle group. to kick off, Eastern seems to be really lost and Nordo. hopefully they get the hint to follow back to SEATAC...

i dunno. i see no escorts, and a fire coming out the middle of the deck like that means damage bad enough to possible knock weapon systems off line (ie reactor issues). but a Badger isnt the best for that all the same.. --------------- UTA 993 on approach for Tampa International.... -
in the spirit of the other themed days, post your big ones, your jumbos, anything bigger than a fighter sized breadbox. Wednesdays only (sorry bout starting so late, was at work until now

that almost looks like when an Intruder shot its nav half way out are there any entries in the cockpit ini that need adjusting (presuming you've played with the data ini)? are you working in the right folder? not being mean, it happens and can take awhile to figure out -

1987: the 307th TFTS gives up its last F-4D, reverting back to being the 307th TFS and completing the 31st's transition back to a TFW with F-16A/B Block 15s -
Game rules for this thread: Same Unit, different aircraft. Major changes preferred, although in some cases like KC-135, F-4D to E, and C-130 different models could be ok. and you gotta name the unit and rough year of the change. to kick off, the 120th Fighter Squadron, Colorado Air National Guard. A-7D to F-16C, 1992
