  1. I've liked the Dhimar goes it alone/ alot less US support for a while now. But i'm not much on campaign building yet....
  2. you mean somebody actually reads the readme's!?!? damn might have to start checking my spelling.....
  3. Moroccan Air Force in the Yom Kippur War?

first time hearing it, but given all the loans for Pakistan vs India, would not suprise me
  4. another amusing thing seen while working on airliner decals...... or who gave the Dhimaris BEELINE Phantoms..
  5. Never Again!

the camps need to be left as reminders, and children shown th footage of the camps liberation. too many deny it while the survivors are still amongst us. what will happen as that generation passes away? i was shown the films when i was in high school 19 years ago, now its hard to find on youtube because "its too graphic." well folks, actual humanity is pretty graphic (for a most recent example visit the balkans after the 90s or middle east in the last ten years) and each generation NEEDS to see the horrors of the past so they are not repeated
  6. this begs for a campaign and terrain.......... awesome backstory as always
  7. File Name: KC-10A Extender File Submitter: daddyairplanes File Submitted: 26 April 2014 File Category: Other The KC-10 Extender I made this mod after noticing that the aircraft in ODS was using a skin that was not use IRL until 3-4 years after Desert Storm. This fixes up skins for the Douglas (White over Grey with Blue cheatlines), Shamu (Green/Gray over Gray)and Gunship Gray schemes. I also added historical serial numbers to each skin, and did the unit markings tied into each serial number. (for you advanced modders out there, tied it as a 2 level rather than a 1 level). This will allow several units to appear when they show in game on the ramp. Installation just add Objects folder to your mod folder. If installing into an ODS install, allow overwrites. Additional Warning ************************************************************************* this really should be left as an AI controlled plane. it is not really for any missons that would be represented in game anyhow. i just skinned it up to satisfy a little historical accuracy in the game. ************************************************************************* Credits Marcfighters..........the model and original skin(served as a base for template) eburger68.............revised data.ini that made the FM more manageable myself................all other skins, template and tgas TK....................the game itself, and our ability to keep modding special thanks to Muesli, for helping me out trying to get the Dutch in the game as well. suggestion to those with mission editor: why not set up teh tankers on an orbit at a waypoint of a mission? then you could "simulate" tanking as part of the missions...... Warning folks, hooking up is the next challenge. Tried it for the file screenie, finally decided on tske off shots instead
  9. those german fighting men sure hate the red tide, esp when it interupts their sleep........
  10. for the Brits out here. gonna try to stay 80s themed in this release i think, though anyone wanting to help can cover 70s, 90s and the last 10 years...
  11. he rejects your reality and chooses to ini edit his own.......................... still news to me. i figured it would have gotten one near end of its career
  12. also checkout HomeFries A-6 Superpack. http://combatace.com/files/file/12897-a-6-superpack/
  13. it will usually merge unless you deliberately put them in seperate folders. unless you are doing mod testing, not much point to having seperate installs of the stock games. even then, you generally have a set of seperate installs and a merged to see differences in skins sets or available items and as roussok and macelena said, when merged you can use everything per the versions you own. my main bit is flying in europe for USAFE/ ANG. but i do enjoy some carrier action, and have all others (full 5 merge plus both expansion packs) just for the things they add to SF2E
  14. Chinese Fighter Pilot movie Eng. dub

"HIGHWAY TO THE DANGER ZONE............ GONNA RIDE INNTOOOOO THE DAAANGERRRR ZOOOOONE.."
  15. would you guys believe these are the same skin? yes the same jpeg......
  16. very true. forward progress is hard enough on the things we want to do, let alone other requests. but admittedly those requests sometimes sharpen the skills and point into other directions....
  17. i'm workin on it. its end of semester so not like its the only tests im takin right now
  18. paulo, i thought i included templates for the K in the pack i just release. from there you should just need to lighten the tan on the Greek birds and add tga's for the units. mandatory screenie: was working the airlines and noticed something else familar on the ramp....
  19. that is a thorough pop quiz there. good luck to those taking it
  20. +100! noticed 747 in that list. will you be making a tanker version too? would be good for the Iran-Iraq war mods ya know... E-4B too. would hope they can be easy add ons to the basic B747 model
  21. Food for Thought; A Flight Sim for the Ages

well started lurking right before dep.#3, then started a long tradition of stupid questions (Knowledge base? we don't need no stinkin knowledge base) during that deployment. oddly also started babystep modding at teh same time, after dep#4 decided to get into school for SGD (thank you VA. thank you Post 9/11). only 5 years for me but still has been a pretty full 5 (dont even want to go into the friggin moves i've done in that time)
  22. Welcome Home Viggen

if i catch you near a car dealership with that deployment money, i will PT you until you fucking die!!!!!! oh yeah, and welcome back!
  23. File Name: ANG SLUF Pack- featuring TMF A-7D and A-7K File Submitter: daddyairplanes File Submitted: 16 April 2014 File Category: A-7 This is an updated skinpack to reflect all USAF users of the SLUF after the bicentennial. Every unit tactical unit is included, as well as the 4450th TG that was a cover for the F-117A's at Tonopah. Most every scheme by every unit is in here; BUT for some units that had different tail stripes for different flights rather than squadrons(i.e Puerto Rico), i picked one color and went with that. INSTALLATION open the main folder, copy and paste into the mod folder of your choice and allow overwrites INCLUDED -4 diferent A-7D aircraft with one of the different paint schemes as a universal skin. changes were limited to making 4 aircraft from 2, and adjusting the data.ini for the new droptanks (A-7D_78TMF, A-7D80TMF, A-7D84TMF, A-7D_87TMF) -1 A-7K with 4 different skins. droptanks for this are set for green as that is when the bulk of these aircraft served was the SEA Wrap and Euro 1 era. -3 sets of droptanks to work with the different A-7D models - comprhensive decal set including 95 D model serials, 28 K model serials, and markings for all units that flew in the paint schemes represented - my expanded squadronlist.ini. helps to keep the tga's in order References Color and Markings #19: A-7 Corsair in USAF Service Google Images Thanks to / Credits The Mirage Factory for the original aircraft. macelena and Slartibartfast, whiteknight0664 and Muesli for checking this dummies work for errors Dave, point man for permissions on TMF works the greater CA community, for putting up with my dumb questions TK, for the game itself i hope you enjoy this little mod i put together Kevin Unruh aka daddyairplanes Click here to download this file
  24. IRL Vipers could carry then from the get go. it was the radar that needed tweeked to support them (ADF). then became moot with the Slammers. as for you Gruppo Vipers, its your world, do what you will.
