  1. havent seen ventral ones on the Top Aces birds unless your talking the usual built into the fuselage (ref pics above) and that still looks empty, so i wouldnt be loading countermeasures in those areas anyhow.
  2. i'm afraid not best i could do is to point out it looks the same as the ALE boxes on late F-4Es, and in fact may be pulled from Israeli Phantoms after they retired. but on the Israeli side, they do tend to keep secrets well. again as for Top Aces, they appear to be leaving em empty.
  3. beating radar, the old fashioned way how did the Soviets say "shack"? cows
  4. Unusual B-1 camo

of the B, no there wasnt but in the 4th A yes. its where they packed the stuff in development after the airframe had already been completed
  5. Birmingham Belle and the Son o Bucky forgot to mention, see you all at PhanCon
  6. Unusual B-1 camo

thats 76-0174, the fourth B-1A the spine holds some of the ECM gear that was further developed for hte B models a few years later iirc
  7. "its the way of the future....." well for training anyways.....
  8. more circus stunts over bases......
  9. as i said elsewhere's work it until youre happy with the result. frankly, even your bad days are still top of the line for skins and models round here. and the screws still look just fine to me after they get painted
  10. my two cents, dont use AI i dont know how it is with audio files at this time. but pure AI images (type in a description and an algorithym produces an image) are currently kinda junky. between the weird FB images posted for likes to a proliferation of images ran through a filter to "clean up the image" which results in something that looks like a water color of the original at best. but the more that it is improved, the more likely that companies will go to it for producing artwork. if theres one thing that should not be lost to automation, its human creativity. time is always a factor in everything, esp. modding. but we have a global community here at CA. lets use any of our non English speaking partners who have the time and are willing to do so make up speech packs. besides, that way we'd also get teh benefit of their local accent on the pack instead of a computer generated speech. it might not sound too different to us native English speakers, but would be very noticable to the Arabic, Spanish, Chinese or whatever other language speakers you are looking for.
  11. recce birds winding down (just waiting on a last few nose art images), time to scrub some Vipers and yes to the gentleman from Kansas thats been asking, the 184th TFG is on the list
  12. welcome to the wonderful world of multiple (often themed) installs.... thats interesting. i rarely get that and if i do, its generally a format error (the model really wants bmp or dds not jpeg) or more often naming (ie F-4B_5 in a F-4J folder). i dont recall hearing about it as a regular error
  13. Viper Pit

getting used to some early 4th Gen action once again
  14. View File Part Time Photos Chapter 7: RF-4C Phantom in the Idaho ANG : A TMF Rebuilt skin pack Part Time Photos Chapter 7: RF-4C Phantom in the Idaho ANG A TMF Rebuilt skin pack This skinpack brings the regular Photo Phantoms of the Idaho ANG's 190th Tactical Reconnaisance Squadron into the game. The 190th is represented in the Wraparound, European 1 and Hill Grey schemes across several years. this skinpack also supplements the LORAN ("towel rack") equipped Phantoms found in the TMF Rebuilt RF-4C Late aircraft mod. Required a functional copy of any Strike Fighters 2 game except for SF2 North Atlantic (the only one without a native F-4 destroyed model) The aircraft from the TMF Rebuilt RF-4C Late set, available here: https://combatace.com/files/file/18263-late-model-rf-4cs-photo-phantoms-after-vietnam/ Included Skins for two different aircraft models, Decals for those skins Installation Unzip file, add Objects folder to desired mod folder. allow overwrites, this skinpack shares a few folders with the Idaho ANG skins in the main TMF aircraft set ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** NOTE!! Nightshade often shows me my errors in screenshots he's just sharing for fun, while Menrva helps me with the more technical aspects -Sundowner, ravenclaw_007, yakarov79 and daddyairplanes templates are a mix of layers as contributed by these four. compiled in current form by daddyairplanes About The Mirage Factory Rebuilt Back in the early days of Wings Over series modding The Mirage Factory, lead by bpao was the peak of modding excellence. Many of their models are still heavily in use today, 15 years later and still amongst the very best. This despite the team not creating any new mods since the passing of Oliver Anguille in 2009. But time does move on, and the next generation of modders have ideas, techniques and tools not available back then. With the help of some of the original modellers (who have copies of the original max files) we can update these fine aircraft for the 2020s. Rebuilt for new terrains and campaigns that were just hopeful wishes over a decade ago. The Mirage in the logo is camoflaged, much like the real aircraft in later service. The "HD" has been replaced with "Rebuilt" as what was HD in the 2010s is jsut standard today. Finally, the new logo thanks Oli, both for the aircraft that are still relevant today and for the inspiration he's given to the modders that followed him. on behalf of The Mirage Factory (original and rebuilt) I thank you for downloading this mod, and hope you enjoy it.
