  1. SF2 Radar/PPI display

well, thats a new term. not very technical, but terribly descriptive ravenclaw_007, how does this look over water? plays into a old idea of mine that may become my next shiny object
  2. well, finally got a reason(ish) to work on Loran birds. Six of what Blade shared have the towel rack on them. and here i thought i wasnt messing with it until i get to Idaho ANG (well still might not depending)
  3. Gimme three steps, gimme three steps, mister And you'll never see me no more
  4. weekend warrior time i gotta talk to the weatherman when i get back....
  5. he's a modder, not God he gets 14 days to do it
  6. as noted, i have wraparound taken care of, esp since there doesnt appear to be any 17th TRS in wraparound ignore the towelbar, forgot to remove it in lodviewer and its not present on the RF-4C_75, just the _LORAN. although they did have at least one (69-0350) its a good start, although most recce units appeared to have 23 birds per. will take a look at the airdoc book on USAFE Phantoms after i wrap up Alabama RFs. last read through i was a little more focused on after 1983....
  7. not to mention the "old" model is freely available and still able to be tweaked by an original modeler on the project (in case you havent been following all of this thread) with out need of fake pilots
  8. including the special tails an nose arts?
  9. oh, and Kentucky's done. dunno why 822 was special enough for a color cap, but it had it......
  10. anyone ever find out something, only to misplace where they found it (research wise)? have 69-0372 listed in my Tageu squadron as the "15 TRS" bird. this is noted in my "highly organized" spreadsheet, which means i discovered the fact somewhere and noted it but i cant recall where from 72-0155 went to Bergstrom in late '89, so it is unlikely it stayed as the squadron bird for any length of time. but Blade did get my eyes onto tailcode position and a serial i missed so that is pretty cool now to scrub Alabama.....
  11. or reskin the Reserve birds anyhow especially great since 363rd is on this years to do list, right after they changed from a TRW to a TFW......
  12. i got from about 83 through 91 down to be released in ........ two weeks but i am hoping more for the brief fortnight than the longer 14 days......
  13. ok, i'll ask any chance on reworkin that Block 15 into a Block 10, particularly the B model? here's the quick version on minor differences, wil send book references later if needed (typin this right before steppin out of the house) the major difference of course being the smaller straight tailplane as opposed to the larger, notched one
  14. just tried it out in my "CONUS" install and downloaded a fresh copy from site and checked in a clean install. i get both, although they are different in my "CONUS" install perhaps check the countermeasures.ini in the effects folder? if they are different , and say teh tga for the chaff and flares are missing, then it wouldnt show up. my conus install uses diferent tga than stock, so thats why its different but none of that has to do with the aircraft itself.
  15. View File Air Defense Vipers: F-16A/B ADF in the 1990s Air Defense Vipers F-16A/B ADFs in the 1990s This mod represents the various units that used the F-16A/B ADF in US Air National Guard service during the 1990s. It also includes the ADFs that were provided to the Royal Jordanian Air Force in 1997. Featuring new F-16A/B Block 15 ADF models from ravenclaw_007. Included new F-16A and B Block 15 ADF variants from ravenclaw_007 various period specific weapons and pilots various ini edits to match the era new hangar and loading screens NOTE: The B models have very few serial numbers to each unit. most units only had one or two family models. the best use for these is to add on as a member of a flight of single seaters rather than as a flight of their own. The load outs are the same so you will be able to load the same weapons. ***************************************************************************************************************** LOADING SCREEN NOTE: I will be including various loading screens with the diferent packs available. In the F-16B_B15ADF.ini you will find these lines LoadingScreen=F-16B_Loading_114.jpg //LoadingScreen=F-16C_Loading_111.jpg installing this mod will have default loading screen with the Texas ANG aircraft. if you already had a different version and prefer that one, simply remove the "//" from the one you want and add to the one without. ******************************************************************************************************************* Credits Viper Team original mod that was the basis for this one ravenclaw_007 new F-16A and B Block 15 ADF lods, templates killerbee331 original weapons pack that many armaments are drawn from here malibu43 2_LAU-88 mod to carry 4 Maverick rather than 6 daddyairplanes skins, tga work, much research, various ini edits, new TW inspired loading screens test team NightshadeP/R, allenjb42, bigstone, Wrench, Coupi, and Svetlin I hope you enjoy this mod. daddyairplanes aka Kevin Unruh 4 Sep 2022 ************************************************************* This is freeware; it CANNOT be distributed unless permissions are granted by myself. 16. the B model was made by request of yours truly around the same time the ADF was done. in fact many two seaters were done in 2022 and i think teh only one really missing now is a good Block 10 B model (sorry the one in the Gen 1 section is hot garbage. and yes, i tried playing with it) as for the single seaters..... we have very few modelers and most are very busy with other projects or RL at the moment. so it will be a longer two weeks rather than a shorter 14 days im afraid....
  17. Intruders.

hats off to you sir a USAF wing set can often be hard to pin down. and there's generally more photographers on an air force base than a carrier underway! so i can imagine the fun youre having with that
  18. another note i believe that the bulk of the Team Viper releases were primarily Gen 2 upgrades of TMF birds (with other bits added for general improvement in technique and technology over the time that had passed) although im sure someone will be along shortly to correct me if im wrong you needing templates too, or just looking for something to throw in your install?
  19. reading it, i think he's looking non ADFs. however these have Block 15 A's and new (well since TMF anyhow) Block 15 B's in the packs. models by ravenclaw_007 who had the max files from Team Viper
  20. ...up ahead's another town....... that I'll go walking through With the rain in my shoes (rain in my shoes) Searching for you In the cold Kentucky rain
  21. well i try on the research everything in red is placed there by text on website, not a book (which i feel is less likely for errors) or pic i know, it stayed the same for Euro 1 too
