  1. why not the colors on the rudder and Polly on the fin?
  2. everythings going nice and smooth, then you get one part that wants to get difficult....... and the outboard looks to be just different enough to cause a headache too. well at least when R_003 is done _004 will be a copy/paste job.....
  3. good gawd, what does the drop down menu look like with Soviet AND NATO weapons!?!?!? or did you set up a batch of UkAF specific weapons? mandatory screenie, or MDD day at Lambert....
  4. would that make the wingmen Democrats? (yes i know wrong Republicans....)
  5. this week on Mig Monday Wrong Reciever, or The Case of the Serbian Photobomb.........
  6. the E models are just about ready for the general public, im literally waiting to hear back from an Air National Guard Wing about their history. a standard nose art across their fleet, and i have 4 made, with 2 more known to exist but not what they are. if no word by next weekend then out of the paint barn they come meanwhile, after some RL business, modding goes on. the R needs some love too, although its not getting as much as the E did APU fixes original new
  7. an Impala helped get my Soldier out of trouble (ish) a long time ago back at Bragg so there we were taking a truck with water trailer back to get more water. suddenly the brakes locked up and we swapped ends, doing a 180 turn WITHIN the confines of a two lane road (no tire marks outside the lines). the trailer was a quarter full of water so the sudden shift caused the trailer to tip over as we came to a stop. but nobody hurt (although the other two Soldiers thought I got thrown when i hooped out as soon as we stopped to check the vehicle and surroundings) they tried saying my driver was speeding. i was able to say she wasnt because immediately before this happened i was looking at an Impala and pissed about the rims they had put on a classic car like that. turned out the trailer had an air leak (wasnt ours but the unit we were attached to at that moment) which drained the air tanks in the truck. once the tanks get empty, bam! truck automatically braked itself to a stop. - - - - - - - - - yeah i know long for an off topic bit. heres a plane
  8. yeah, Navy Phantoms didnt carry LGB at all. they left that to the birds in the VA squadrons but its your install, there are no mistakes. go bomb that happy little tree over there ------------------------------- Makos over the Adriatic
  9. 707 I got DC-8 also I agree, a 727 and Caravelle would be nice im guessing your time frame is outside the service of the A310 though
  10. loaded a bird up for the next project. in line with my 23rd Wing one......
  11. wicked if ya need to do a series of parked airliners with European carriers, let me know. i know a guy that could whip it up fairly quickly.......
  12. going off the phrase "visualize" if you can extend the range by which an EO sensor can see, i dont see why not. Mavericks and the BUFFs TVS systems can see things in the sky if they are pointed in that direction and if they can see out that far then they show up on the little screen. Tomcat in theory too although ive never actually tried it out now, if you mean TARGET, like Eric said thats a hard no. but they werent meant for that in real life anyhow.
  13. Scooter 7, Zues-23 0 well damn, that Zues mighta got 3 points in. I still won But Gunny's gonna be pissed..........
  14. so i was trying to decide what unit/noseart to add for the loading screen on the E(82). then i discovered that this gem lasted exactly two days. the artist (who is also the author of the Painted Ladies books) went in and did it on a saturday. it went to the paint shop to be stripped and painted AMC grey on Monday, making it the "shortest lived nose art in the Air Force". and so a finalist for (82) was selected. (92) already has been picked since near the start of this project
  15. gotta quit monkeying around gotta be done in time for football ya know. who brought the cheese fries?
  16. youre doing air to air in it? i think they dont want the package i have to deliver
  17. for the love of Gawd, use my pack if your gonna fly a TPS N. that Full color stock tail is killin me cause and effect
  18. been a slow week for progress on...... mcuh of anything trying to wrap a portion of this that i promised someone. then final tweeks to the Jersey boys (and Chicago too) and this one might be ready and no, im probably not adding mission markings. the way its set up to get it all in, even the desert storm marking is really small (white thing below the unit patch)
  19. Your First Sim

what no mention of this little gem (not my firstaviaton related game, but one of)
  20. The First and only American Emperor!

very true and i agree with you but one also has to think about the common usage of words not just the technical usage/definitions. ask anyone with electricity and access to some type of communications across the globe to define America and you will be told of the political entity with a capital in DC and/or its people, culture, organizations or machines. if you managed to ask all 8 billion people, i would venture fewer than 10 million would state "one of two continents in the Western Hemisphere". i tend to think things like that as technical reality vs functional reality. there is what it is, and then what will make a end result for you. sadly the two are rarely mutual
  21. your use of serif fonts on this site is tacky. theres your attack now the useful part, is this stock or modded? stock you wont see them, the game pulls it from the CATs modded, it would help to say which F-4D. there are actually several out there
  22. got one Mirage F1. but lost both Foxbats before mission end.......
  23. serious question, would the 17 have had the legs to fight over south England for a while? or would it have been jet age Me 109s, ten minutes on station and then its really time to go home? --------- Mirage killer over the desert
