i have updated the download with a new set of F-16D Block 40 lods by ravenclaw_007. any of the first 73 to download (between July 5th 2022 and July 22 2022) can get just the new D model here rather than get the whole thing over again only the lods have changed on that one aircraft. all else is still the same F-16D_B40.7z -

if you get Expansion Pack 2, the expansion pack features the mission editor. and then you would have access to that many more aircraft (and the mods that require them for damage models or lods) but it would require buying SF2 Europe and the Expansion pack to work. and i do understand that $10 is less than the $70 you would spend to get both in one shot. just letting you know about it, esp so youre not ticked later if you build up to a full merged install and realize it was in there. -

why not compare the notes between the two and swap what seems relevant as ot figuring that out, you may have to do what you did before: play with it and i dont recall being able to get a flight of twelve automatically, unless you have the mission editor and can set your flight that big. even then, be warned the game doesnt like that very much -

Sorry been out all day, now checking in briefly on phone crisisloaner nailed most of it. One other option is to make the pylon a weapon and add it in. Plus is that you can player select different version in drop down menus. Bad part is that you lose a couple more weapon stations ( you're limited to 32 in the data ini) And unless you have 3DS MAX 2009 or Blender, you are stuck with whatever you can find that matches. If you want to continue down this rabbit hole, look at my B-52G ODS pack. It has the long pylons that were used to carry twelve bombs on each wing added as" gunpods". It also has groupings so that you couldn't carry twelve bombs AND 6 cruise missiles on each side. But I had a lod from another pack available as mentioned and totally reworked everything to make it a weapon rather than pilot.- 7 replies

if you have experience with photoshop, GIMP is now fairly similar. if you dont have experience with either, GIMP, while free, is not very intuitive for the beginner. what i would do in the event of what your doing is have a template with the 4 groups. each groups would have a 0-9 layer. then its a matter of turning each layer in the group on and off as you work the needed numbers it takes some time to line up at first and set up. but it flies once youre good. and if youre smart enough to keep the template (i used not to be) then its on hand for future use and with your preference in aircraft, i forsee alot of arabic number in your future -

templates brother. layers just like a skin. set em up, then while still tedious they go by faster. my serial nums are usually about 58 8 minutes of the process per skin. 3 of that is going back and fixing something cause i went through too fast and didnt pay attn one does wonder if you can get an actual functional arabic font for word. everything i can use in word also works fine in GIMP -

another one of those " i dont need to do too much to this one" skins -
well, what this guy said as i pointed out, i have been working a project that is mostly Guard and Reserve units in the 1990s. so since the middle of May i have seen alot of pictures of grimy, decade old at time of photo, F-16s. even the ones fresh out the paint shop for its new unit look a little worn. by comparison, that jet is very clean. I had figured it was popping straight to the UK for the airshow before heading to Kuwait.

that looks really really clean! not even a joke here, i've spent the last month and a half looking at F-16s, almost all at at the 8 plus year mark. but that bird looks like i could serve up dinner on it....

like it says. theres a Block 40 in the SF1 section from serverandenforcer (another name from the old days) but not much else in teh TW download section period. would have thought it was in the Team Viper packs, but no joy so far not, repeat NOT looking at Block 50s.... scratch that last, the old one on Gen 1 is with the spine... not the droid im looking for either -

will take a look at it (still gotta look at dmtdragons canopies too...) if you havent noticed most of what im working on is historical skin appearance. predominantly bringing units in as they were in the 90s (which is about the peak in game for avionics performance outside the Block 52s), not the plethora of early 2000s to mid 2010s that we have now. bout done with the Air National Guard, but i still am looking at about 20-25 more skins (staying almost entirely on F-16C/D) its OCD i tell ya....
