that would be awesome, but like everything else in parked aircraft, its the games roll of the dice. i was just happy when i got different airlines to show up myself if you can get a list of carriers that flew in the major airports, i may adjust up a couple of hte airliner skins to be more specific to your terrain. it wouldnt be immediate, but if i reuse whats there i should get you a decent spread without something crazy like Alleghany Airlines in the mix. would be two weeks, but a shorter 14 days rather than a longer fortnight -

i had always meant to create a RedAirliner nation for the airlines of the "enemy" nations. should be super easy to do (copy, paste, change name and alignment) but never got around to it. dont think it can be dual nationed, and nuetral will have them not show at all iirc as for the airliners/airfields issue, are there any military airfields that have to be large? otherwise, restrict the airliners to large airfields (think most are anyway) and hav the airbases be medium. -
forgottenjets.warbirdsresourcegroup.org Found this while looking up A-7Ds. But it has quite abit more including pretty much all USN, USAF, Marine and FMS Phantoms the pages are quite lengthy, as it takes each s/n and gives its unit assignment history as best it can also, like with any such site, do take things with a grain of salt and pay attention. if a given aircraft was with the 166th TFS from 81 - 88, the 112th for 89, then back with the 166th until retirement in 92, you may be able to discount that assignment in 89 (without photo evidence). but then again, no site is perfect, not even f-16.net. anyhow, just thought i'd share

Gepard, given that ive worked on alot of the available airliners (not just skinpacks but some working with the modeller from beginnng), you might need to add "Airlines" to the allowed nations for the terrain for them to show. unless you have already that is otherwise many of hte currently available airliners wont show up even if the end user has them in the install -

if i recall, my skinpack for the 707 has a Aerolineas Argentina in there. for several eras possibly even only catch is that its as a decal, so you roll the dice on what you get or play with the numbers list and textureset some -

here you go bud https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/aviojet/ if your talking SF1 or 2, there are forums for your request there rather than the general zone but be prepared to wait a few years. or .... Blender (modeling software) is free GIMP (photoshop) is free pick em up. practice. fail. learn from failure. practice somemore. build your skills, none of us started off doing super great work develop a skill in the community that will allow you to work with other skinners and modders, and have them want to help you. *************************************************************************************************************************************** you may not realize it, but posts like your first one are equivilant to a decently dressed man holding a "please help sign" on a street corner. you think your case is unique but the older modders here have seen it a million times. your second one reads more like offering that man food or water, and being turned away saying he only wants cash. and before you declare how rude i am, how much time in a day do you have to stop your life, and your interests to make something for someone who will not be paying you to do it??

its weird how folks say they cant do (or dont like to do) decals that can do skins. tga work just has a little more involvment with opacity and repetition, skin work has much more detail to it. but to me the skill sets are the same (outside of hte decal.ini dance) -

there was a discussion on this in another thread, basically that the stock birds dont lend themselves to being ground models where as the modder created lods can be used. -

daddyairplanes replied to amariani's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
tis why the research is a long and lengthy b............... amount of time @amariani, from the bits ive looked up of period photos, and looking at pics like yakarov posted, you may want to make everything a level 2 decal. theres alot more variation within units than I would have expected, esp for an aircraft that in theory was maintained in house and didnt go to depot every few years -
