ummmmmm........ i think your definition of snowflake and mine are just a little different i would more compare " they didnt leave the helicopters in working order" to "my cat wont eat vegan and ate a squirrel" than to "how dare they, kill them all". stupid whining, that even the al jazeera journalist that was with them in the hangar turned around and said "really?" -
but no this evidently isnt satire. who knew islamist/terrorist organizations had snowflakes that dont know how the world works too? https://www.foxnews.com/world/taliban-fighters-helicopters-kabul-airport-afghanistan?fbclid=IwAR1__RwraCxy4nGx7A5WvTLM8Si_t6kcolqhczRRetsLOvKr7XbP2f9bjRw

well the Hercules and the Hips shouldnt be too hard to keep using actually, given they are everywhere for ability to fly, the Little Birds, Tucanos and Cessnas were given to the Afghans because they are simple to maintain. also not uncommon aircraft to get parts for for avionics and ability to effectively (and accurately) fight, yeah i think it will mostly break down within the year on the Humvees and tracks however, half will be NMC by end of month, the rest by Halloween. im laughing my ass on on those tho satire, sums it all up quite well. https://www.duffelblog.com/p/taliban-cant-believe-they-actually?r=kw68&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&utm_source=twitter especially the last line

you really need to check out the WorldWar series by Harry Turtledove first four books cover an alien invasion during World War 2. per the recon drones they sent and had radio back, they were expecting mediaval knights. second part covers the peace in the 1960s, just as the colonization ships start arriving. and yes, its amazing to see what people do with the alien tech they had captured two decades ago or bought/stolen/traded for in the years since final book sees humanity matching then overtaking the aliens within the same book (technically 20 year span, though only a couple are really covered) only distinct spoiler is the alien races shock to see a human spacecraft over their homeworld. armed with nukes "for self defense"

meh, i have subscribed to the belief for years that we are not in fact alone we are just the neighborhood the aliens roll the windows up and lock the doors as they pass through

that was a final missed oppurtunity. the -22 better fit the requirements of the competition, the -23 better fit the wars of teh last 20 years, as well as the pivot to China. -

well, for when the skin is, it would be Timothy Dalton. but that airframe was written off in 1981 at Soesterburg. so it would actually have to be Roger Moore and did you change the availability in the textureset on that skin, or did i leave it like that when i sent it to you? i wound up taking a minute to check as i hadnt remembered that exact combo being available (and yes i do way too much research to get to know some of the serials like that) mandatory screenie, or the last few seconds of 007s career (pilot pancaked on runway during Camp Amsterdam airshow, hurt but alive. aircraft written off with not even 100 hours on it) -

well, ever since he added decals to the LOD Viewer, i damn near never fire the game up as i dont have to check progress nearly as often in game but its soo much better having results viewable with 2 seconds rather than two minutes -

heard a tale from a grunt one time, while in Kuwait after R&R waiting to head north (early 2012) his merry band of Strykers pulled up into a village, and everyone's "oh shit" meter pegged when the entire village took to the hills. everyone except this old man the terp asked the old man he didnt run first. "i had a good life, do what you will with me" he says asked what he menant, he replied "you Russians always shoot all the men" this was 2011, 2012 timeframe. that village still thought they were fighting the Soviet Union. that is not a good country to nation build and promote democracy my friends. as to how its all going, i can only look at the Nam guys and say so that how it feels. i hope the rest of ours get out ok, and there are some ANA i worked with that i hope got out sometime between the last year and now. but many of the others i worked with .... not suprised a bit
