The next time you get these Spads in 1916 can u send me the mission file : Campaign mission file found in \CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields\missions\historical - OFF_Camp_Mission.xml I suspect the Spad 7 is used as a place holder but need to confirm - I may revise this. Also make sure in Workshops that you have Aircraft Spawn control in Campaign column (middle section) set to OFF Campaign. Send the mission file to support@overflandersfields.com Ta WM

    For those with this pitch issue - what OS are you using? Please Post OS , System specs and Slider settings for OFF Finally goto workshops and press the 'Set to Defaults' button in Maintenance and see if the problem persists.     V1.27 is the hot fix registry version - ie the last patch you applied You have really now got a screwed up install - you will have to uninstall OFF via windows add/remove. And then reinstall V1.0 then V1.26 then LASTLY the hot fix. The Hot fix does not change DM FM etc all it fixes is the AI Formation keeping as we have stated on our site. As to how you got there and what happened? - you buggered around with the files and you still post to ask? WM

    Guys if this persists I need more information: Please contact us on the support E-mail system and quote your order number and then: 1) Attach the latest Campaign mission file found in \CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields\missions\historical - OFF_Camp_Mission.xml 2) Attach the latest weather file in\CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields\weather - OFFDynamicMissionWeather.xml 3) Confirm your version (check in workshops lower right) and that you have loaded the hot fix after 1.26 Patch. 4) Relate how you are starting the mission. Do not post all this here - simply send it all to: support@overflandersfields.com with your name and order number. Ta WM

    In 1.26 you will always be elected to lead the strike missions (otherwise it goes by Rank or always lead as per workshops for any other mission type) - and it is stated in the briefing text - this so you can order wingmen to attack targets as you wish.. HTH WM

    As you climb, the air thins, so to keep engine Air/Fuel mixture correct you need to lean out the Fuel - you do this by Ctrl-Minus - I normally find most craft in CFS3 are optimal two or three clicks from full lean (engine cut-out) and of course Ctrl-Plus enriches the Fuel. HTH WM

    I don't know how much any of you know about CFS series but the aircraft have never been able to land properly since CFS1. However all is not lost as we are working on this but cannot say when Tom will have a working solution. Workaround is to land first - they will hold back - and then exit the mission. HTH WM

  13. Dirk I think we all use the Map as its the most realistic way to fly - I just press the M key and pop it up as I fly - look at it to get bearings - yes airfields and frontlines are good landmarks - and close it again - thats it! Map is always one key press away... HTH WM

    Also make sure you are trimming your craft prior to warp or make sure you are holding the stick in the 'crafts' neutral position when you warp/exit warp. COGs were adjusted to be more accurate in V1.26. Make sure you are installing the V1.26 HotFix after installing 1.26 i.e the HotFix is the last thing you install. HTH WM

    Pleased you are enjoying OFF, Yes you can grab the instruments with the mouse and move them. If you have not bought Trackir then I can give it a very firm recommendation - its the best thing to come along to Combat Flight sims in a looong while. HTH WM

    I cannot reproduce this issue I have tested Sea5, Viper, Pup and Tripe - are you coming out in a cloud with turbulence? Is this in clear skies? Try this In workshops : 1) Set for AI Weather Gen Top Left. 2) Press the Reset button in the large AI weather Gen settings box below that 3) Select Day Lock to on just above the reset button 4) In Graphics Details select In Cloud Fog to on 5) Lower right select Wind to off. Basically I am forcing the mission to start with clear/reasonable weather..... Then fly a campaign mission in SE5a and try warp (try avoid using an escort mission for the test as you will have to form up and meet them etc) I have flown 10 campaign missions now with Se5a with no warp issues. If you exit warp in a cloud with turbulence you will be in for a bumpy ride - this is normal! You can tell now when you are in a cloud as you will be fogged in - hence setting 3! WM

    From V1.2 onwards all craft short names that have pits are identified with a star at the end. Use the ones ending with the *. HTH WM

  22. Guys n Gals, Yep its official now - Combat Ace is OFF's new official forum. Thanks to Alex(MK2) and the Combat Ace Team it has been a breeze moving here. This has basically allowed us to continue on V1.26 undisturbed save for an evening of very strange events - one which I will probably never forget. I still am not sure what happened there. But onward. We have updated all the links on our Website and they are now pointing to Combat Ace as our new forum home. Great to see so many familiar 'faces' here already! Ta Best WM

    I did try the Pup and the Tripe. I was able to pull up in the Pup no problem on exiting warp (speed was low cos engine was on tick-over and this I corrected by setting mixture 3 clicks from cut-off) - what are your FM settings in workshops? I hope its not all bad.... WM
  25. With all the workshops settings available now in V1.26 I hope that everyone can set up the sim such that it enables them to feel comfortable with the difficulty/ease. HTH WM
