Great Old Sanke Card Image
Rickitycrate replied to RAF_Louvert's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Thanks for the pic and link Lou. I wish I had a collection of these cards. I appreciate and collect Ephemera, postage stamps, baseball cards etc. One set I have is a reproduction of tobacco cards commemorating the life of Lord Nelson. I have a Gotha GIII tobacco card and Hitler stamps from Germany. Holding those Hitler stamps and considering the facts of their origin and time really gives me a connection that is more tangible than reading a book or watching a film. I know my collection pales in the light of some of you guys. IMHO MK2 has a museums worth of real items that he is taking care of for posterity. -
If some one has an idea I would appreciate some advice. Running a laptop with an additional monitor. Windows Vista 32 Nvidia 9300M with latest driver (updated about a week ago and it was working) Everything seemed to be going along okay I had just printed some pics from an SD card and written some letters in MS Works Word Processor. The next thing I new I lost color on the external monitor and had only a B/W image. I unplugged the monitor and my laptop screen was in color, at first, then soon went B/W also. When I log off and reboot I have color at first but then it seems as programs startup one of them kicks out the color. I should say that I went into the Control Panel and checked the color settings they were as should be but I reset to defaults anyway, no change. I opened the Nvidia color settings and did the same, no change. Coincidently I keep getting a pop-up saying that "this website wants to run a program Adobe something" and it keeps coming back. Any advice appreciated.

OT: No color on monitors

Okay, I seem to be sorted now. I heard the virtual voice of Uncleal. I reverted to my previous Nvidia drivers and got my color back. So far so good. -

I can't speak for Shred but I thought he got it all along. As for my "how many bags to fill a bathtub" I was inferring that if OFF Campaign is crap I'ld like to take a bath in it. I think everything is cool Dutch but Shred can speak for himself. -

Yes thanks Dej, good effort to catch that action. Flying in the dark is so different. Seems kind of surrealat times. I really like your pics. -
Jammer I hope you don't mind I mentioned your Luke vid and linked it at SimHQ in the OFF Forum. More people need to see it IMHO. Thanks.

Team OBD does abuse us terribly. So okay, same ol' crap in a new bag. How many bags of crap does it take to fill a bathtub? Thanks Shred and all for the sentiments shared on this page. Whatever the WWI sim name are we not brothers from a different mother? Well when you have a number of choices among a number of people... I'm just saying it's a good thing we didn't all pursue that one AAA+ woman of our dreams and it's the same dream. All those other girls watching as we make fools of ourselves. Bad analogy, Again, I ramble... no I'm not drinking. -
Whats your favorite refrigerated barley unit of choice within the mess?

I see good head on that beer. Should be tastay. -
Jammer, I was thinking in terms of the airplane/pilot perspective. Outside the craft from different angles. Inside the craft using TIR of course but changing the closeness of the pilot to the windscreen. On one of the last balloon attack it's like you slid forward or leaned to really concentrate your aim and fire. You see I love seeing the wonderful planes we have. Seeing the outside view I thought "yeah, that's Frank Luke". Many fine OFF movies do a fine job of many things. I thought yours was particularly involving. How it was shot, how it followed history and supplied the nice graphical story and a soundtrack that did not clash. Mr. Luke is one of my heroes and I appreciate your effort. Gee I don't know what I'm talking about but I liked it alot. Cheers!

They all sound good guys. Widow I would sure like to educate my pallette with a proper go at your selection. Ras, yes that's it. Screenies I grabbed. I love taking those screenies. Olham, well I do agree that OFF inspired product labels on a "great" beer would be snarfed up and sucked back very quickly my feeble efforts have yet to have a proper tasting. I know I have a verrrrry long way to go before thinking my stuff is any good. There are real brewers in our forum by the way. No, these little bottles are learning brews, building blocks in hopes of one day making a truely satisfying adult beverage. Disclaimer: strictly for home use. Not intended for commercial sale. Pregnant wimmen should not partake of unknown rotgut. Call surgeon general if you have his number. Go to the church of your choice. -
Carrick, sorry friend, I'ld weigh-in if I had more time with all the crates. They later models I've hardly touched what with the large number of both scouts and two-seaters.

I'm hoping to enjoy one of these very soon. Fokker Scourge is a Pale Ale and Balloon Buster is Canadian Draft. Apologies to OBD if I'm abusing or misusing pics of my favorite sim. These are my first two homebrew batches. -
Albatros D V vs SPAD VII - Air combat video
Rickitycrate replied to Olham's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Danke, funny how if you give credit for the music it's like asking for it to be removed. Now I kind of liked the tune and would not have heard it otherwise now I would know what to shop for. Oh well... Oh and being so wise from age I see now your thread says DV vs SPAD VII. Thank you for your patience. -
I don't think so. You Einstein, me Cheetah. And I ain't half more stupider than some.
