Naw, Pappy this is too close
-
Absolutely. You would not believe the things I haven't done yet with OFF.
-
There has been an abundance of references made of work on and aspects of P4 by Winder himself recently. No particulars but I get the impression that he is excited and still very motivated in fleshing out the OFF World experience. That excites me. My trust is in team OBD and I am terribly grateful for what I currently have. I am grateful to the point of trying to respectfully share the good news. An example; http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2933152/Fokker_Fun.html#Post2933152 Your contributions on sites like this may help the cause of furthering interest and developement of OFF.

Belgium 9eme Escadrille de Chasse Camels
Rickitycrate replied to RAF_Louvert's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
I love it Lou but there is much to do. Here is something I have done with your excellent work. I hope you don't mind. http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2933172/Belgian_Camel_Spotted.html#Post2933172 Thanks, Jim -
Oh good, thanks Lou. I have "Teeth" and it's great.

I had mentioned the paperback swap before. That is how I got my copies of Fighting the Flying Circus by Rickenbacker and Ace of the Iron Cross by Udet. Imagine my suprise when I received them and found out they were x-library from Selfridge Airforce Base. I just got a copy of Hostile Skies;A Combat History of the American Air Service in WWI by James Hudson http://www.amazon.com/Hostile-Skies-History-American-Service/dp/0815604653/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1262702969&sr=1-7 on the paperback swap and 10 or so books about Beers of the World and Home Brewing. http://www.paperbackswap.com/index.php I have now completed nearly 700 transactions on paperback swap and can recommend it. Most of the books I have received are hardcover by the way. Check it out maybe. You can do search without signing up.

I agree with UK Widowmaker. It seems it will not happen. Too Bad.

Hi guys, there is a new guy over at SimHQ OFF forum with this problem. If you could post an answer here I will copy and paste it over there if you don't belong to SimHQ. Thanks. 1) I have a multiple controller set up: Saitek X52 pro, Saitek throttle quad, and CH pro pedals. It appears that OFF is recognizing more than one controller for the same function, causing my ac to immediately go into a spin when entering free flight. The controller section makes no sense to me. can someone advise?

Bravo Lou, dead on!

And so it seems this war is hell as Pappy and the others tell To fly again, perchance to fall We mount our steeds and mutter, "feck 'm all"

From your grandad's hands to your's. That's a special addition to your collection. You'll be seeing mum soon I venture. I might even visit my mother if she had that kind of bait.

That "other WW1 flight sim"
Rickitycrate replied to Davy TASB's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
I was just out of internet action for 30+ hours. Something went bad in the broadband provider system. It is afterall -20F. here this weekend. Anyway, I was able to enjoy my time of no tv and internet by flying OFF. $20?, seems to have all that is currently available by download I'ld be looking at $100 and then I would be campaigning in OFF. Maybe when times were better, but not now. I am curious but I am extremely happy with what I have. -

Thanks for all the complments guys. Lou and Simon, it is your work that inspires me to do my screenshots. Scouseair68, if my screenies have flushed you out of the bushes that great. Thanks for your kind words. I hated to do damage to the Belgian Camel but, hey, there's a war going on. With you favourable feedback on these picks I will now post them on another site so peeps can see some early action aircraft that they may not otherwise see. I do love OFF so much, thanks as always to OBD. -

Here's my New Years Day. -
Good luck Stiffy!

Close call. I have lost campaign pilots just that way. I should use a start-up checklist. I'm glad you survived.

I would think that if you are not heavey handed with the glue that you should lay out some wax paper on a flat surface and place the record with the side that you want to preserve face up. Use an adhesive like Gorillla glue on one surface then slide the two pieces together. Somehow try apply a steady pressure toward the crack from opposite edges of the disc. After allowing it to dry hopefully there will not be excessive glue at the joint. If there is a bit that causes a skip you might find that playing the record and the action of the needle may improve the playability after a few go 'rounds. This may be doable depending on the thickness of the disk and if the two parts lay flat in relation to each other. Do they match-up well?

Downloaded, broadband, first try on day one. Unzipped with 7-Zip. Installed with no problems. Did not use a manager.

AFAIK, you need to use the TAC to assign targets. It's the only way to be specific at all. Using TAC cycle though to Aircraft then press Tab to select the target. The target will be yellow rather than blue or red. When you are happy press A.

Stary, very nice look with the sunlight striking the planes like that. Are the pics made to look this way with an effect or are they straight from the sim like this? I like it. They have that glow from of dusk sun angle. -
Best wishes to all

End of year thanks to the OFF Community and a few specific members
Rickitycrate replied to OvS's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Very nice choices OvS and I add my thanks to that list. One group that I would like to add is the community skinners, you know who you are, thank you. This whole forum has been very good to me in many ways and I thank you all. To the new year gents -
Very nice complimentry review. Kudos to OBD. I like how the reviewer finishes his comments by saying "The Hat in the Ring expansion in my mind is without doubt a must-have add-on to your OFF Phase 3 install."
